The cheap, the bad, and the smelly

AS SOON AS WE OPENED DOOR IT SMELLED LIKE MOLD BATHROOM FLOORS WERE FILTHY. ROUDY PEOPLE @2 A.M. & NOBODY CAME TO QUITE THEM DOWN. IT ENDED UP BEING FURTHER THAN EXPECTED.

Average Stay

Motel was average and exactly what I paid for - cheap. The breakfast bar was OK and could have used fresh or frozen fruits to make it better. The location is right off the freeway, but the rooms were sound proof. Customer service could use more smiles.

Ok for the money.

The location was good and easy to find. Very noisy the first night but it was New Years Eve, so no surprise there. Plaster falling from walls and when we moved a chair it was evident the maids limited their vacuuming! Go early if you want breakfast it disappears fast and they are slow to replace. The staff was nice but did not go our of their way. Overall it was worth the money. I would go again if in the area.

Good hotel for the price

This was our first time to stay at the hotel. The beds were comfortable, staff was friendly and breakfast was pretty good. The room was clean area was queit. The only bad things were that the room key never seemed to work and kinda far from all the amusement parks. Other than taht it was a nice hotel stay.

Alright for the price

Rooms were ok, could have used a deeper cleaning, but ok. Fridge froze drinks. Location wasn't too bad. Easy access to I10 and 90. A little drive for somethings, but overall not to bad. For the price I'd stay there again.

close to attractions

I found this hotel at a great price and not far from the attractions that i was there for, the hotel staff were very pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable, it wasn't noisy and the location wasn't bad at all... so overall i am very pleased with my stay. and would recommend it to friends

Great Deal !!!!

We have a family member in the hospital. This was a great deal in our time of need. The hotel was great and the service was excellent. It was great not to have to add to our problems.

Good for the price. Clean room, friendly

Our stay was good. Very happy with the room. The only bad thing was the location didn't come up on GPS so it was a little difficult for us to find.

Not that great

Staff was very friendly, however when I asked directions to a restaurant, the directions were incorrect. I was disappointed with the continental breakfast, I thought there would be more of a choice then cereal, toast and waffles, coffee was good, OJ was watered down. Bathtub did not drain, it was cold when we got there and the heat did not work very well.

I must say I enjoyed my stay much more than I could have ever IMAGINED...The manager,his wife,the staff..EXCELLENCE THAT"S EVIDENT! As an author & motivational speaker, I believe this is the place of places and I know on my FUTURE travels that Red Roof is the Roof I will seek to sleep under. There was a short walk to experience the restaurants but also just a short drive 7 minutes to beautiful downtown San Antonio, where EVERYTHING you could ever want or want to do...GREAT LOCATION!
