One Year Anniversary

They were very courteous and prompt with service. We asked for microwave and it was delivered within 5 minutes to our room. The valet guys were great with the car and giving directions. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

The location was the only luxury.

We basically ended up using the hotel for just the location. We walked to nearby restaurants that were less expensive, but still had wonderful food. We used the $30 a day vallet parking for one day. They took so long to bring us our bags, my husband had to go back down to the lobby and bring them up on his own. We moved our vehicle the next day to the city parking which was $8 a day. Why would I want to waste my spending money on parking? I felt this hotel is more concerned about what they can get out of your pocket than making their guests have an enjoyable stay. Even cheaper hotels offer a complimentary breakfast! I've seen better 4-star hotel treatment! I don't feel it was worth what we paid.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Don't waste your money on the $30 a day vallet parking when you can use the city parking garage. It's safe and secure, and only $8 a day right across from the hotel. Also, save your money for food and don't eat at the hotel. You can walk to several other nice food places with better prices.

Great Riverwalk location

La Mansion on the Riverwalk is a great place to stay & enjoy the ambiance of the San Antonio downtown and Riverwalk area. We enjoyed many fine dining establishments within a short & enjoyable walk along the river. The room was right on the water, and walkway, but when we went to sleep, it was not loud as I thought it might be.
