Great location
We went to see the Celtic Woman concert at the Majestic Theater. The theater was right around the corner from the hotel so we didn't have to bother with driving. We also enjoyed the Riverwalk which is right next to the hotel. Great location!

Three day vacation to Riverwalk!
Loved the hotel. Perfect location. Fantastic workout area. Truly enjoyed our stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We will return!

Great Get-a-way!!!
Location could not be better! The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Their restaurant was super. The "Staff" were absolutely superb! They were helpful above an beyond their duties and made us feel as part of their family.

Anniversary getaway
Room was nice but a bit smaller than i was expecting. The shower was pretty tiny too. There was a bar in it right next to my arm and the shower head is pretty low. The room doesn't have a safe. Every other hotel i have been to has a safe in the room, even much cheaper ones. The hotel bar seemed to be out of most of the drinks they were offering. And one last downside...the Wifi wasn't free. Seriously? I felt like i had to pay for everything that should have been included in the cost of the room. Good points...the staff was very helpful. The rooms and hotel were kept very clean. The location was awesome for walking to all the places i wanted to see. Probably won't stay here again.

Riverwalk San Antonio La Mansion
Great staff. Wonderful concierge. Beautiful river view w/ Christmas lights, watching the river taxis/barges drive by as we sat in our hotel provided bathrobes on the spacious balcony! Room was no bigger than average hotels, but 100% better ambience. Maybe thought $32.00 a night for valet parking was "heaping it on" a little.

Everywhere in style
Great getaway
My wife and I celebrate our anniversary here. Upon arrival I was asked our reason for the visit and told this to the guy at the front desk. Later we were surprised with complimentary champagne and truffles delivered to our room. Only problem was the valet forgot to bring our car around and we had to wait 15 min. But when I asked about our car and they realized the mistake they rushed to get the car and refunded the valet charge without being asked to. Great service and a beautiful place to stay.

Staycationer 2012
Great Staycation
My wife and I are from San Antonio and enjoyed this hotel for a quiet weekend alone. The balcony was terrific to sit on in the evening to enjoy the sounds and smells of that the Riverwalk had to offer. The room was well appointed and spacious and the staff was extremely friendly.

Homesick Texan
Great downtown experience!
I lived in San Antonio for eleven years and have some familiarity with the resort and downtown hotels. The Omni La Mansion del Rio is my favorite hotel on the Riverwalk. The location is within easy walking distance of downtown attractions, shopping, and restaurants. The hotel's own restaurant is the best for elegant dining right on the river. My wife and I tried the spa at the sister hotel across the river and received tremendous service. Great hotel particularly if your are looking for an historic, genuine Texas feel.

Short walk from hotel
Visit Paris Hatters, just a few blocks from the hotel, if you forgot your boots or cowboy hat. A great Texas original!
