All Hype
Had Us then lost Us
Was very impressed of the new room renovations. My wife really liked the decor. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Had one out of two keys that didn't work. Stayed for two nights. When wife and I came back from seeing the sites to room the 2nd day , neither one of the keys worked; found out other guest had the same problem. The shower water wasn't hot, just barely warm enough to get clean. The kicker? My wife spotted two bugs and I saw one. I don't know if the one I saw was a bed bug or not; it WAS crawling on the sheet and small. I didn't find anymore like it after stripping the bed and inspecting the mattress. Went to Wal-mart and bought our own sheets though. The ones my wife saw were bigger, one dead on the pillow case and the other crawling on the wall next to the table. There was and opening down by the door where the bug could of came in too. I just put a towel down to cover it. Didn't find anymore after that...so.

Never again
Just keep in mind that you are going to the hood. I booked a non smoking and it was actually a smoking room and they were sold out so i could change. But I learned my lesson never wait til the last minute to book something.

Small couple vacation
My boyfriend and I were surprised with what we got for that price!! It looked very nice and clean inside. I was surprised it was considered a 2 star hotel. The staff was very friendly and it wasn't far from any of the places we went to (Ex. Riverwalk, Alamo, Natural Bridge Safari). The only thing I wish they had was a mini fridge, but other than that, everything was excellent!

Spring break get away
Good for the price
I cant say anything bad about our stay here. The room was clean, the person at the front desk was polite. If I have to complain about anything it would be the beds. Although they were clean the beds were kind of hard. We have a pillow top mattress at home so were we not use to sleeping on a really firm mattress, but if you like your mattress firm they have the perfect bed for you.

not bad for the price
Not the best location but good for the price. Most hotels in this price range is pretty ghetto, but this one had reverently been updates. Very happy with service and quality.

Its a good place to go if your on a budget and need alone time with the spouse and no kids. Food places all around. Great staff. Ill be goin back soon

great value, HORRIBLE area!!
Room was nice and clean, staff was friendly and it had a pool for the kids..HOWEVER....there was a hooker working out of a room in the back of the motel, strippers were making deals..not a family stay..stay here if its just you, no kids and you need a clean cheap room.

good for the price
We were looking for a nice place to stay that was close to everything especially somewhere to eat. this location was close to the express and we had a very good selection of place to dine.
