Excellent included breakfast
Location is not that great, especially that I walk to and from the Convention Center for 3 days (~25 minutes walk each way, 15 of that is great, the other 10, not so much.) There is no shuttle to airport, either. Room is clean, Furniture a bit worn. Great breakfast: DIY waffle, fresh bagel, toast, muffin, fruit, hard boiled eggs, cereal, you name it.

Fantastic Location
For the value of the room we were very impressed by its location to the Riverwalk and Market Square. It is a 15 minute walk to both locations but there is ample pay parking nearby starting at $5 and up. The hotel is a great value and it's super clean and attractive looking.

Smoky rooms
The rooms smelt terribly smoky even though i was on a smoke free floor. Clean rooms though. I will not recommend if you are sensitive to poor air circulation.

very good family getaway

Over the stay was good.
The room was a suite with twins bed but i was suppose to have a king bed . The bed was very uncomfortably.

Big E and the Gang
Fantastic family getaway
Great location, great rooms and friendly staff. This hotel is a family friendly place. Our kids enjoyed the stay and had fun in the pool and had a peaceful night's rest.

Convenient location and close to Paseo Del Rio
The hotel is in a great location because you're just off the interstate but there's really not much else in the immediate area. However, you are close to downtown and the Riverwalk so it's walkable, except on hot days where it might be a little unbearable for some. Still, and best of all, parking is free which was my one requirement. The hotel provided continental breakfast each morning from 630am to 930am. The room itself was large and comfortable but basic. Overall I was very pleased with this hotel, the value, and the location.

You have to go to Rosario's for fantastic Mexican food. The restaurant is a about 4-5 blocks away from hotel and is very popular. Luckily it's big enough to accommodate many people so any waiting will be minimal.
