Hyatt Place San Antonio/Riverwalk

Very clean and comfortable! Would stay again right on the riverwalk.

Stayed here for a business trip. Good staff and comfortable, clean room. Fitness center could use more equipment. Had to walk a bit to get to the convention center and restaurants, but this was fine as it was quiet and less expensive than the more centrally located hotels.

The rooms were oddly shaped. The maids did not clean our room one day because we were sleep when they came around and they never came back. The walk to the main attractions was not a bad walk. (five minutes)

I'm not too picky when it comes to hotels and I usually never complain about things, but what kept me from rating this hotel a perfect score was the bathroom. It truly is tiny, TINY!. The door even rubs against the toilet seat when you go to open and close it. The bathroom sink is on the outside directly in front of the beds which is odd. Although the bathroom situation is a little odd, it's not enough to take away from the rest of the hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The room even has a lounging area, almost like a mini living room. The TV is huge (42") and the availability of connecting your own media to the TV is fantastic. You get a fridge in the room which comes in handy. The staff is extremely friendly. The fitness center is average. The pool was nice even though we never touched it. The hotel isn't on the main part of the riverwalk, but it's within a short walking distance of the main part of the riverwalk so you get the riverwalk view without the noise and the multitutes of people which actually is quite nice. It's close enough to everything in downtown though. FREE WIFI, PARKING, and BREAKFAST are all positive perks to the hotel. And the breakfast actually is a continental breakfast! Book here, you won't be disappointed.

This was our second trip to the River walk Area, great experience and excellent price. The hotel is located on the south end of the river walk area, and can get on the River walk right out the back door. We were upgraded to river side upon arriving. We were traveling with another couple so we had four adults, between the ages of 38-42. The room was spacious with two beds along with a separate couch and living area, the room came with refrigerator, microwave, and large flat screen that could be viewed from the beds or swung around to the living room area. The hotel had a very modern feel. The hotel also came with complimentary parking and continental breakfast. The continental breakfast had hot sandwiches, juice bar, oatmeal bar, waffles, fresh peeled fruit, coffee , bagels, dounuts, and cereals, more than enough to tide you over. They also serve some gourmet coffees, expresso and cappuccino’s. We will definitely choose this hotel again.

The room was good but the bathroom was too small. We got a room for 6 people but you could barely open the door to get out from the shower. The staff was really nice and the breakfast was delicious. I would stay there again and I do recommend it.

The hotel in general was great, breakfast mediocre, and location just a few blocks from the heart of the riverwalk. We had a nice stay in a clean room with a king size bed and fold out sofabed. My only complaint is that I prepaid and booked online, and upon checking out was told I had a balance although I hadn't charged anything to the room. I was told it was handled and I wouldn't be charged the fees due to my room showing prepaid online... however, once I was away from the hotel and half way back home, an extra $172 was charged to my card.... you just don't do that to someone on vacation. I called and was told the manager would handle it and call me back in 30 minutes. An hour and a half later, I had to call them back. I didn't receive an apology, explanation, or anything, just a simple "Oh yeah, I'll fix that..." very unprofessional. The same thing happen to my friend who booked a room for the same night...

This hotel was great. Stayed for a weekend. Location was a 10 min walk to the river walk. Staff was very helpful. Pool was a little crowded but overall kept up and clean. Rooms had plenty of space and cleanliness was beyond expectations.Free Parking and a good breakfast.

Everything was wonderful,but one little thing happened I don't know why they chared 20$ with no reason

Loved our stay. Room was clean and very large. Only negative is how small the shower/toilet area was but not a deal breaker. Overall definitely will stay again. Oh and awesome breakfast too!!
