i really enjoyed the loaction of the hotel and the staff was very nice.

We spent a night at this hotel on 12/30/2012 (two rooms). The first thing we noticed when we got to the place was that it didn't look at all like the one in the picture. It looked pretty beat up. Our first surprise in one of the rooms was a huge cockroach lurking on top of the towels. The second room didn't have any towels at all. When we asked for them, they told us that they were washing them and that they'll bring them to the room. They never did. We came back after 11 pm, tired and ready for bed, and had to ask them for towels. The toilets smelled really bad, and we had to keep the door closed to stop the bad smell from filling up the room. Next day, while taking a shower, we noticed a huge clump of hair stuck in the bathtub drain. We had to remove it to stop the tub from getting clogged. It was so disgusting! There was also hair in the walls in the bathtub. I'll not stay at this hotel again. And I'll certainly think about it twice before going to a HoJo hotel again.

Overall it was a pleasant stay at this hotel. Hotel location, value, breakfast and staff are the highlights. Room was spacious and clean. Amenities in bathroom were good, as was in room coffee, however, coffe maker not working so microwave was only answer until breakfast. Free breakfast was GREAT!!!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat and will extol its virtue to friends.

wasnt inpressed with the free breakfast, the room was clean and bed comfortable, tv wasnt that good, and i thought it was closer to our actual destination, but it wasnt!

This motel was located just across the street from our destination-it was very clean, the employees were excellent(Carlos,Laura). Very nice pool,brekfast was inculded,the room was roomy, the crab bars in shower came in very handy,would stay there again anytime. Great Job.

We only showered and slept here. The staff is really friendly. The room was a lot bigger than I expected, just needed a real good cleaning. I wont tell you what I found on top of the cabinet...OMG! I hid my meds up there coz the safe was an extra charge. They did come make the bed everyy day, and leave fresh towels, and if we called up the front desk for something, they were VERY helpful. The neighborhood was in the hood...lol... But had no problems. Most of San Antonio is the hood, unles you stay north of the airport or right around it, but this was 15 minutes from Lackland, and worth the money.

I have no complaints whatsoever about my stay here. Its not a 5 star hotel or anything, but it was perfect for us since we just slept and showered for 3 nights. The room was huge, which was great since we were 4 people. And room service kept giving us towels when we needed them.

I had checked the reviews and thought "well, there are bad reviews, but more good ones, so we will try it". Big Mistake!!!! We walked into our room, the a/c was loud, very loud! The toilet had a black ring around it! We had one towel each. (2 of us) The TV did not work! The pool had broken tiles. The treadmill did not work in the exercise room. The tub plug did not work, so couldn't take a bath without unscrewing the plug and using a sock to plug it. The breakfast was bad. Not sure how people said good breakfast! The front desk person has to make your waffles, so if she is busy-you wait! No cream cheese packets for mini bagels, instead a plate that had cream cheese on it, but it had other pieces of food in it! So as if this wasn't bad enough, WE GOT NO MAID SERVICE on our second day!!!!!! I came back after a day at Sea World, and my company came back to my room with me, and how embarrassing!!! the bed was not made, the trash not emptied and our dirty towels on the floor! After a call to the front desk, they brought me 2, yes two bath towels and they changed my trash can. That was it! Horrible! The next morning I went to get owners name and they offered me 25% my next visit! Are you serious??????? We will not be using that! Oh and the motel is on a one way service road, which makes it hard to get anywhere without doing a lot of turnarounds,

I was so disappointed, going off of other reviews. Due to the price, I wasn't expecting fancy or even an up to date room, but CLEAN you figure is automatic. In the bathroom, the toilet was dirty, the shower had a couple of hairs in it and the bottom of the tub was dirty. By the door frame it was rusted, evidently because when you showered, the shower curtain is short and the water goes on the floor. Where the wall meets the floor, the carpet was filthy with dust so figured the whole room probably needed to be vaccuumed.The floors and walls either needed to be painted or the dirty marks should have been cleaned off. What more can I say except that the room was unacceptably filthy and if it would not have been a hassle to get my money back for paying in advance, I would have only stayed the one night, not 3.

It was a great hotel. The rooms were big, clean, and the swimming pool was clean as well as the jacuzzi. The hotel staff were very friendly. Would stay there again.
