Homegate Studios and Suites Airport

We arrived late in the evening and the door was already locked. The room was reasonable however the bathroom was not very clean. The bathroom curtains were dirty as was the bath. The worst thing for me was that the bath had either a separation of layers of fiberglass, or an incomplete repair, or something as peeled off and left a glue deposit which remained uncleaned. Also the night staff could be more helpful and attentive.

It was horrible. People were very friendly. But the rooms are dirty. The sheets on our bed were slept in with remains still on them. For a suite, we had a toaster, food strainer and a dish drainer. No coffee pot. No coffee in lobby either until 6:30am. Our floor were dirty, Old ketchup dried up on top of refrig. They gave us another room, which was just as dirty. A smoking room with brown dirt running down the walls. Someone put some white powder in the a/c heater. Dirt, crumbs etc were all along the carpet next to the walls. This suite had a coffee pot for 1 cup. Nothing else. They did furnish bath soap but that was all, not ev Don't even drinking cups.I would not stay at this place ever again unless I checked out the rooms first. Do not order on line.

Room was old, dirty and trashed out with damaged and stained furniture. I will never stay at this hotel even if the room is free. Bath tub had hole in tub - carpet burned by iron. Staff nice - hotel very bad.

You do get alot for your money! Don't forget your pots and pans and some dishes if you want to cook anything.

The bed was very uncomfortable. I found a previous guest's underwear by the bed. There were no towels in the room. Would not recommend this hotel to a single woman traveling as I did not feel real safe in the area.

I stayed at this hotel a number of years ago. The rooms have a kitchenette and the location is great. Years ago, the rooms were clean and maintained. This time, the bathroom was dirty (tub, shower curtain, etc) as well as the carpet. They don't provide blankets - just a dirty bedspread and a sheet. The sheets also seemed unclean. The biggest shock was that both bath towels had grease on them. I had to dry with a hand towel. When I mentioned this to the manager, he was callous and not at all apologetic (Said it was an "honest mistake". He dismissed the fact that I had just climbed out of the shower - said I should have come to the desk for more. The room was generally really run down - chipped paint, end table missing, etc. I won't stay there again.

When we first got there, we thought we might be at the wrong place because there weren't many cars in the parking lot, but it turned out to be a nice quiet place to stay. The bathroom was a little interesting, the shower was stained, and the toilet could flush two different ways, but it made for some pretty good inside jokes. The hotel was right by the airport, so that's good for air travelers. It was about 15 minutes from downtown San Antonio, but there were cool things going on between the two, so it's not like you're in the middle of nowhere. I would stay there again.

We were very disappointeds,we got to the hotel around 3.00am from Houston the front door was locked with a sign saying we will reopen until 6.30am.we immediately call orbits after tapping the door many times.Orbits called the front desk so finally she opened and let's in .after.25 minutes the sign didn't have no phone number to call.we will try priceline next time

Staff was pretty friendly but not very professionally dressed. There were some rowdy people lounging around the hotel areas and they looked pretty shady. Had to ask to be moved to another room. Rooms are okay but need some maintenance.
