Holiday Inn SAN ANTONIO-RIVERWALK

The hotel is in a quiet location right on the Riverwalk. It provides easy access to all of the restaurants and bars without being right in the middle of the chaos.

We were very disappointed in the hotel because we had no idea it was under construction. We were charged $20 per day just to park which was not a fact that was disclosed to us when we booked this trip. We could not use the elevator from the parking garage, we had to climb 2 flights of stairs and enter the hotel dinning room just to get to our hotel room. It was very uncomfortable to get to our room and had to argue with the construction workers just to get off the elevator. The room was newly refurbished and clean. This is the only reason we stayed the full 6 days and did not switch hotels.

Great location. Great place to stay if you are wanting to walk right out of your hotel and get to the Riverwalk. The staff very helpful as well!

Excellent hotel to choose. The room was nice, the staff was great. We had a good time. CON: I was surprised by the parking fee of $18 per day as this was NOT described in the thris party booking dialog. I negotiated the fee off. Parking is a premium in downtown San Antonio so be aware of that.

This is a great location on the Riverwalk. It is close to many restaurants. The hotel was clean, quiet and the staff were friendly.

Location is great. Right on the Riverwalk and close to all the fun places. The room was clean and adequate. On the inside the hotel looks like a really tall, cheap Motel 6. Wifi didn't work though supposedly they had upgraded their network recently. Breakfast was pretty weak for what they charge. I would have been happier with a free continental breakfast. I stayed here because it was cheap, but next time I'll try somewhere else. It wasn't so much cheaper to be worth it. Part of the problem is that I've had good experience at other Holiday Inns so I had higher expectations.

This location is excellent. Close to everything on the river walk. Be aware that even though this hotel is on river walk, the main busy areas are a few minutes away. The area behind the Holiday Inn is very quiet at night but 3 minutes away the action starts. The only negative was the front end staff were very friendly and helpful and always promoting happy hour..yet when we went to happy hour we left because the bar tender never came to serve us...he was more concerned about washing glasses. We had a room with a balcony which was an unexpected bonus. We would definately stay here again.

Really this hotel is pretty plain jane but it's in a great location....for the value. If you are looking for opulace go someplace else.

My family and I stayed here over a weekend. Small rooms, and minimal ammenities, but very clean and had a great location. We enjoyed the balcany over-looking the riverwalk. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
