Family weekend
The parking fee should be diclosed! The doors were very noisy, we got two phone calls in the middle of the night. Overall, I will not come back to this hotel!!!:-(

Great Hotel Caters to the Tourist Crowd
This hotel is great. The location is within a block of the Alamo and therefore gets a lot of the tourist crowd, which is great unless you are business traveler. The public space look a bot worn but room i had was exceptionally clean. All of the staff made point of greeting me in the public spaces. A sign of good and consistent training. The service though was a bit slow but like I said it is tourist crowd there and they need a lot more time consuming help than a typical business traveler. Overall a good stay but if you are business traveller be prepared to wait to check in while directions to the Alamo are provided for the 3rd time.

Great Riverwalk location
Great experience at this hotel-beautifully decorated, clean comfortable room, the only thing that I wasn't so pleased about was the $15 a day parking charge. They don't tell you that when they hand you the dashboard parking pass, just slip the bill under your door the morning of check-out

Excellent help
Denice, the girl at the front desk was extremely helpful in giving us directions and suggestions for places to eat, visit, etc. The location was great! When we arrived, we had a very small room with one queen bed and no refridgerator or microwave. We had requested a king bed on our reservation. The hotel switche us to a room with 2 queen beds and a refridgerator which was acceptable.

Great Place to Recharge
My wife and I planned a trip to San Antonio, TX to relax and recharge from our busy jobs. We were placed on the first floor of this hotel and to our surprise it was very quiet even though we were steps away from the elevator and back entrance. The staff was very sensitive to our departures and arrivals and were very quick to tidy up during the sometimes small window of opportunity. The free breakfast was exceptional.

Always check transit information before you arrive, learn the routes. In San Antonio the trolleys are the best form of transportation in the downtown area.

Weekend getaway!
Clean rooms, close to the Alamo and Riverwalk. Room was not as spacious as the one we stayed in Florida but it was the only thing they had available for Spring Break weekend so I can't complaint about that. Overall it was ok and I would recommend it even though it was nothing exceptional, just ok.

Family weekend getaway
Although we had to wait for about half an hour for our hotel room, the front desk staff did everything to accomodate us as quickly as possible. The room was perfect and the free breakfast offered is awesome. Any restaurant would charge around $10.00 for a buffet like that. We had a great time and will stay there again!

Winter Get-away
The staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful - pointing out things we should see. Room door very hard to open and shut. Microwave did not work properly. Next time would prefer a room with a patio or balcony. Taking a break from north country winter, it would be great to sit outside and have a glass of wine. Nice distance from the River Walk, but a bit scary walking back to hotel at night. Breakfast was great, hot, tasty and nutritious.
