Nothing good to say
I checked out 15 minutes after I arrived. I was never so disappointed in my life! I was being charged $400.00 per night for a room at a hotel that was nothing more than a glorified Motel 6. We checked into the Hyatt Regency Riverwalk that was beautiful, clean, for a fraction of the cost. This needs to looked at seriously so that others won't have the same experience I did. [...]

Reasonable and good access
The rooms were very spacious, with a sitting room and bedroom. Two televisions. The remote had to have batteries replaced. Comfortable and clean. Very short walk to bus station (public) to the airport. Short walk to the River Walk. Great bartender with good happy hour.

Good price for room, but...
Great location: only a couple of blocks from Navarro access to River Walk and not much farther to River Center Mall. It was about 5 blocks from Alamo, but trolley system goes right by the hotel. If you want to park at the hotel, you pay a premium $16 per night for valet service, when right next door there is public parking for about $8 per day. Room was a suite: living area, and bedroom area separated: makes multi-night stays more comfortable. Problems: couch had a light stain across the back near the seat cushions; bathroom shower drain looked rough, and door trim around bathroom door was peeling away from door frame. Exhaust fan didn't work very well, turning the bathroom/shower area into a steam room. The bathroom was large, ideal for handicapped with no shower door or curtain; all water drains to the drain grate. Despite stated problems, I would stay at the hotel again. The staff were friendly and helpful, and you would be hard pressed to find a better location for the price.

The good, the bad and the ugly
Location says close walk to attractions. It was a long walk to me. It wasn't close enough to anything so you had to walk along way at night passing homeless on the street or drive and pay big bucks to park. We parked in one lot to go to the downtown mall and were there only 35 minutes and they charged us $10. House keeping was so late every day we only had our room cleaned once and it was just so-so. Parking at $16.00 a day at the hotel was a little high since you could park it your self right outside the front door but if you did it cost $14.00 for you to do the parking. I won't go back but if I do I'll stay down by the River Walk (which by the way was extremely dirty brown) to avoid the parking.

"Good for a single night stay"
Was an average "okay" stay. Could've gone without the constant blaring of a train going off like 3X throughout the night & the walls are thin cause you can hear when someone is in their restroom and or flushing their toilet.

Good Value in Semi-Isolated Location
Room was comfortable. No free breakfast and coffee not available all day. Fairly deserted area, even though only 5 or 6 blocks from Convention center. Not a bad business experience for the attractive price....but would not return for vacation travel.
