Easy access to downtown
The main lobby was beautiful. Great continental breakfast with excellent service and great choices. The rooms were neat and clean. The hallway carpets were soiled and needed upgrading. It is very near downtown and close to activities. A city shuttle stops at the hotel so access to the city is easy. Staff was very helpful.

It was OKAY.
It was OKAY. Not bad, not great. The location was nice for walking on the river, which is why I chose this hotel. The lobby had some neat aspects to it, birds in cages.. Cafe.. etc.. My air conditioner didn't work, what so ever.. I was given excuses and eventually just gave up.. Parking was an additional $18, and that's if you can even find a spot (which I didn't, still charged). Went down to breakfast the next morning, got a plate, sat down to eat.. And as I was taking a bite of cardboard tasting bacon, a lady came and told me that would be $10.. Maybe that's normal? I don't really know, but for a $150 room I figured they'd spot me breakfast.. Which was sub-par at best anyways.. Needless to say, I'll never be returning here..

weekend get away
This hotel was great. Staff very proffesional. Food was delicious. The only problem is that swimming pool closes at 10pm. I think it should be open at all times. Some people just want to stay and enjoy the swimming pool at nights. Other than that, everything was great...

There's a great little taco place around the corner called Pete's Tako House. Great yummy food for the price and off the riverwalk if you're looking for a hole in a wall type of place with great food.

fiesta weekend fun
Was one of the best hotels that we have stayed in while in San Antonio. Beautiful on the inside and outside. The staff was always willing to help. Down fall - the charge for parking and the parking itself. If you are staying at the hotel, no charges should be applied for parking. BID DISAPPOINTMENT with the parking charges.

not what it looks like
The hotel is further down the riverwalk away from the main area than I thought. Rooms look much bigger and nicer in photos. Actually very small rooms. They charge for local calls! Buffet breakfast was food and that was about it. It was a safe location. Nice area, never felt unsecure.
