Business-minded hotel close to the Convention Center, on the River Walk
With 37,000 square feet of meeting space and 15 rooms that can be parceled out in a number of ways, and a short walk to the San Antonio Convention Center, the Crowne Plaza Hotel Riverwalk is a key spot to do business. The proximity to the AT&T Center, Bank of America, Toyota and USAA doesn't hurt. There is plenty of fun and sightseeing to be had as well. The hotel is near the Alamo, Hemisfair Park, Tower of the Americas and the Alamodome. The rooftop pool is heated and a plaza overlooking the river is reminiscent of a Mexican market square.Amenities

Crowne Plaza Stay
The hotel lobby and restaurant areas on the first floor were good. The hotel room itself was nothing special compared to a cheaper hotel off the Riverwalk. The location was great and it was a block from the RIverwalk and where we wanted to be.

Crowne Plaza Motel
I took my grandaughter to the San Antonio River Walk for her 13th birthday. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Motel, a 4 Star rated motel. The motel was nice inside and very clean. The staff was good. The motel is not on the San Antonio River walk, however, it is close to the San Antonio River. I would not trust the neighborhood in the area after dark for my female family members to be walking from the parking garage to the motel alone. There is motel parking, the self parking area is about 1 block away behind the motel and costs about $23.00 a day. I found the motel to be nice inside, very clean, with a good staff. The elevators seemed a bit aged and seemed somewhat slow. The motel is rated at 4 Star, but I think that rating is inflated, perhaps 3 Stars would be more appropriate.

We went for the fight and it was Firstas weekend as well, so it was pretty packed. The staff was great friendly and helpful.

Great Time!
The hotel was nice, the staff is friendly, our room was very nice and the beds were great! The location wasn't bad but we did have to walk aways on the Riverwalk to get where the action was. All in all it was a wonderful experience.

Great Stay
Loved it! Great stay. Very clean. A little bit of a walk to the "happening" part of the riverwalk. But didn't mind. Would definitely stay again!

Use Valet parking. It's a $4 difference between that and self parking. We checked in on a Friday. Used Valet parking. Never moved the vehicle all weekend. ( they charge at the parking garages downtown) we did a lot of walking. It was very pleasant. We finally moved the vehicle on Sunday when we checked out

Nice stay...
I needed to stay in San Antonio for 2 nights. The Crowne Plaza was clean, spacious, centrally located and quiet. I highly recommend.
