BEST WESTERN PLUS Palo Alto Inn & Suites

Hotel was pretty decent!! No complaints!!! Location was ok not the best but about 20 min to riverwalk 20 sea world so not too bad... Hot breakfast was OK!!! Overall pretty happy with our stay!!! Would come back!!! Best things was I was able to use hotel computer to print oursea world tickets for free!!! Definitely a plus!!

Me and my family loved our stay here and will be back soon!!! The breakfast was great and the staff was very nice... We loved it!! Highly recommenced!!!! The only thing I can say that could improve is maybe changing the breakfast to last until at least 10:00 a.m. Other than that it was great!

We got the largest room that was available, because we have a large family. It was not a suite, but fit our family comfortably. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Indoor pool was nice.

Me and my two girls stayed over a 4 day weekend at this Best Western. The overall stay went well for a moderately priced hotel. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful. My only compliant was the fitness center. I had booked this hotel after looking at the photographs of the fitness center. The good news is the treadmill and eliptical worked but if you are going for a more intense workout I suggest going elsewhere. The equipment is not maintained the and bowflex did not work at all. All of the straps were frayed and in complete disarray.

Most important to most travelers-the bed was comfortable and the room very clean and well-appointed. Very important to business travelers, the business center needs improvement. Internet is extremely slow in the business center and on wifi in the room. Perhaps desk staff lacks training. I arrived late and as only person in lobby, would have expected some sort of greeting. None was given, only canned statements regarding room policy, no courtesies whatsoever. Breakfast starts at 6:30am - no bagged breakfast is offered for guests leaving before this time. The location near my client was the reason for recommending this hotel.

Friendly staff. Awesome food! Full breakfast. Not just your everyday bagel and juice. The biscuits and gravy were amazing. Waffles to die for. Scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage were a hit. Lots if cereals to choose from. Yogurt and oatmeal along with fruit for on the go. Room smelled a little musty but once we turned on the air it got better. Bed was comfy. Nice big room. Shower was huge. Nicely tiled from floor to ceiling. It's on the outskirts of town but not too far. Jack in the box and a Valero Gas station right in the same lit. Whataburger and Subway across the street. Quick access to freeway. Would definitely come back!

Me and my family stayed here during our sons Air Force Graduation from BMT. It was nice to get up to a hot breakfast before we hurried off to Lackland AFB to join in on the days activities. (about 10 min. away.) When we arrived back the rooms were clean and ready for another good nights rest. All the staff was nice and ready to assist us with directions to many of the areas tourist spots.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights during an IT security class last week. My wife and 19 month old son were with me and during the day they had intended to swim and relax. However, the manager's office is located poolside with his desk facing the pool through a large window and the manager acted in an infuriatingly unacceptable manner. When my wife first took our son to the pool she noticed the manager watching her. She assumed, at first, that he was just paying attention to the pool for safety. However, he continued staring at her from behind his desk and even when she went to the far end of the pool in an attempt to remove herself from an uncomfortable situation, he adjusted himself to be able to see her. Now, my wife is quite beautiful and I learned long ago not to be jealous, but this went beyond a simple glance of admiration. He made her so uncomfortable that she left the pool never to return. Then, he met her in the hallway. He intentionally tracked her down and asked if there was anything she needed. I understand that asking if someone needs anything is simply good customer service, but she was trying to get away from him at the time. Later that day she used the laundry facility which, like the rest of the hotel, is under video surveillance. She was only in the room for 3-4 minutes before he tracked her down again. There was a specific, intentional pattern to his unwelcome appearances that lead to my wife and 19 month old being trapped in the room for days. In an effort to not cause any issues, my wife chose not to tell me about this until Saturday, our checkout day. At the time all I could do was to let the desk clerk know. Had I known earlier we would have checked out and found another hotel.
