Enjoyed stay, but needs work

Good value for the money
I went to Dallas for a workshop and stayed at this hotel to save money. It was a good bargain for the money, a no-frills experience. I would stay again.

great value
I visited the place Apr/2013. Although the building is pretty old, it went through very noticeable remodeling very recently. (There were still some painting cans & tools outside the office). Rooms are on the small side (at least in Texas standards), but super clean. Freindly staff. No frills but great value for the price.

Avoid the major highways and you can be in downtown in less than 20 mins even in rush hour.

I came to attend the AHR show in Dallas convention center, and when I booked the hotel all the big hotels in downtown were fully booked. And then I found Knights Inn, and I was attracted by its low price and logistic distance to downtown, overall good cost performance, close to Downtown, good service lady

Jo Jo Was a Man
Sleep with one eye open
Checked in at 9pm. You check in using one of those steel drawers like at a bank deposit box through bullet proof glass. Vending machine full of rubber instead of sodas should have been a clue. About 2am cops raided a room nearby. The rooms had obviously been repainted and cleaned recently and they are trying to clean it up but the clientele at this place scared the dickins out of me and I grew up in one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the US. If I was with someone maybe I'd go back due to price and location, but if you're a business traveler and need sleep instead of a call girl and the like keep looking.

Good Hotel for CFA Exam in Dallas
I visit this hotel for CFA Exam in Dallas. Good price. But not beautiful room inside. Located closed to Dallas Market Hall. Have McDonald and convenient store in walking distance. Overall, good value if you wish to pay $40.
