Del Frisco's was Great
We stayed here because of its proximity to Del Frisco's restaurant - we were able to walk there. We wanted ice when we got there, but had to wait for our ice machine to make ice, which took a long time. Our desk clerk offered ice, but we didn't want to take his supply. We were dismayed to find no general use computer at the facility.

Del Frisco's. We made a special stop so we could frequent this establishment for the second time, and it did not disappoint.

Great location at a great price
The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The room had everything I needed, including a mini kitchen. Great location!

Plesantly Surprised!!!
I was in town for the weekend and was looking for a hotel in a different part of town. Luckily I chose the Candlewood Suites. My flight got delayed so I checked-in late and the Staff was pleasant and responsive. Upon entering the room I noticed the modern decor and wood flooring. The mini kitchen was adeqate, the bed comfy and the AC cold. I really didnt need anything else. Icing on the cake were: the gym, the computer, the free laundry machines*, and the outdoor grill on very nice patio. The location was close to everything. I would stay here again.

Not Good
Arrived after 10 PM to find hotel is in lockdown mode even though it appears to be fairly nice neighborhood near a mall. Must buzz front desk to open front door while reading warnings in waiting area about importance of hiding valuables in your car. Room smells AWFUL, like lingering cooking smells and sweat. Air conditioning/fan is extremely loud and on high cold with no ability to turn down or off. TV remote doesn't work. Not a lot of money but not a lot of positives either. Will choose elsewhere next time.

Great Place to stay
Stayed weekend here when I flew in for friends wedding: Pro's: Central location right beside Galleria, extremely quiet, during weekends most hotels are noisy this place was dead quiet, very clean, high quality bed, pillows, towels, nice staff, this place is like a small resort, full gym, laundry, Internet. Con's: No hot breakfast but cheaper price makes up for that, this place is excellent...

Good location for the price.
I enjoyed having the kitchen in my room. I liked the way the room was laid out. I appreciated the small store in the hotel and the work out room.
