Best Western Plus Dallas Hotel and Conference Center - Park Central

Pros: The rooms were clean and the bed very comfy. The shower had just the right amount of water pressure, plenty of hot water. The location of the hotel was perfect! It's easy to find and it was 15-20 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go: Dallas World Aquarium, Dallas Zoo, and the Dallas Arboretum. All of which I'd highly recommend if visiting Dallas for the first time! When we went downstairs for breakfast in the morning, we were greeted in a friendly manner and the food was pretty good, especially the biscuits and gravy and potatoes. Cons: Not much to complain about! Only that when we called for room service, they had apparently closed but somebody felt the need to answer the phone anyway "just to say hi." I would have rated the staff more highly if it weren't for that. However, every other encounter with staff was very pleasant!

The staff was very friendly and quite helpful. The rooms are clean and all room amenities were functional. The restaurant and fitness center were clean and operational. Tina Kendel assisted me with the Conference Room rental and setup and was quite professional. I am now returning once per month for my Dallas stays.

Attending a conference downtown, I decided to save in hotel costs by locating out a bit. This proved to work for my purposes. The room wasn't huge, but was large enough. The bed appeared clean and there was no mold in the bathroom. One lamp functioned but the shade was broken and needed repair. The TV is old and works, but only marginally. The weight room / workout room is worn with older equipment, but it was functional. The fridge and microwave worked. The breakfast was large and well prepared, with a variety of hot foods (pancakes one day, then french toast the next, then biscuits and gravy the net) In addition there was fresh fruit and several other options each day., all nicely maintained. Overall the staff was pleasant and helpful. The parking is free and I had no trouble finding a space. There was construction (of which I was aware before coming), but no extra noise, and it appears things are improving.

Good breakfast, comfortable rooms and centralized location

Hotel was better than I expected! I went in August 2012. The noise level was 0 meaning I hardly heard any noise, room was clean, and location was good. The drive to town or malls were bout 15 mins away.

Well checked in had no electricity.waited for hours still no electricity ended up just falling asleep.We really didnt get to experience this one. We did wake up to electricty along with a Great breakfast buffet.

Requested a non smoking room and when we got there they only had smoking rooms available. Have us a room key and the room we went to had not been cleaned and there was trash everywhere. The next room they gave us reeked of smoke, and so did the entire floor. Very dissatisfied with our stay here. We will not be visiting again.

The hotel was under construction and there was dust everywhere! There were no clear signs of where to check-in with entrances being blocked. I tipped twice on flooring that was uneven and debris in the hallways. The staff was not attentive to our needs when we called complaining that our toilet was backed-up. We had to call twice (hours later) as they had forgotten to send someone to repair it the first time. We requested to have two drinking glasses delivered to our room the second day because the construction caused the dining areas to be blocked off and the staff was rude stating that they dont make glass deliveries to the rooms. Our room was quite small and the heating and cooling systems wasnt the best. The daily hot breakfast was the only plus. I probably will not be returning.

I stayed here for over 2 weeks when I moved to Dallas and was a great experience especially for the price! Very clean and good location.

The staff was very nice. My cell phone deactivated my room key several times and they had no problem resetting my card. One employee even printed directions to a restaurant for us. My room was very clean and neat and I enjoyed my stay. I would stay here again when I come back to Dallas.
