Motel 6 Corpus Christi East

Rooms are very clean and the staff are very nice and helpful. The location is good as it is a short drive to either Padre Island or downtown Corpus Christi. The only thing I would recommend when staying here is to bring extra pillows. The blankets are thin, but the rooms aren't unbearably cold either so it didn't matter to us. There are no microwaves in the room although the listing on this website says there are. I would definitely stay here again.

I spent 4 nights at the hotel. When I arrived there was a sign posted showing that for a few more dollars I could have spent an entire week. They wanted to charge $2.99 for WiFi. Even though I agreed to the price, I felt cheated. The night attendant was very nice.

Not bad for a 2 night stay for sandfest, convenient location in the middle of Corpus and Port A.

Opened the door to my non-smoking room & first thing I smell is cigarette smoke. Call front desk and they showed minimal interest. After deodorizing the room I go to wash my hands and the hand sink is plugged I try to jiggle the drain cover to help the water go down and vomit like particles float up. I call front desk and she states she will send someone right away. After about thirty minutes I call again, she states she will go attend to it herself again showing minimal interest. After going to the pool I return to the room and check the sink which now at least slowly drains however is still filthy. I decide to ignore the sink and go into the restroom only to thankfully notice there is absolutely no toilet paper again I call the front desk to inform them about it and this is the response I get " that's no problem just come to the front desk and get it." The manager was never mean or disrespectful she just lacked true customer service which is what keeps customers coming back. Overall the motel is nice it just needs more caring management and certainly new cleaning staff to before it really hits bottom.

Quick friendly service. Located close to local fishing spots saving time and gas expenses.The price of the room was great compared to other hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Room door wouldn't close and lock all the way. Musty smelled, roaches, not very clean, ac not working, very uncomfortable beds. Front desk clerk friendly though. Cheap rate.

Not at all what I was expecting. Location is all by itself with nothing around it. Room was clean though, which was nice. Staff was friendly, which is nice as well. Room was tiny, and when I woke I could barely move as my back was so sore from the bed. Motel seemed to have a bunch of people who lived there, who seemed to like to unwind at night and make noise. So, other than friendly staff, and a clean room, there is nothing that would bring me back.

My stay was good. The price was higher than what I was quoted. I would stay there again only because its clean and its a good location. The staff was friendly. The shower was little but the newly remodeled rooms were nice.

It was better than the last time I stayed. The rooms are nicely remodeled and the swimming pool is nice.

Room was musty. Needed cleaning, bathroom smelled of urine. Towels were stained. Bedspread was too thin.
