Nothing special. The location was 1 block off the beach. The room was OK, but in need of a deep cleaning. It is definitely a no frills hotel. The breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, make-your-own waffles, danish, cereal, juice, coffee.

Had a wonderful time in a great off season location. Great value!

The rooms were clean, everything was good could not complain for what we needed.

Hotell was nice and located on North Padre Island. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We thought we were getting a suite but we got a single room instead. Only problem we encountered was the bed sheets. We had queen bed but the service staff tried to make the bed with double sheets. The sheets kept pulling off the bottom of the bed and getting tangled with out feet. We would stay there again.

Room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Room size was great and small kitchen in room was clean and well stocked - I was loving that. Clean bathroom and big comfortable bed after a long day at the beach was great - although we didn't sleep under the covers because we never do - too much Dateline on the brain. WiFi in the hotel was perfect, we found a local restaurant for dinner, and we really appreciated the cable tv. We really didn't expect these perks because most places so close to the beach are stinky, muggy, and expensive. I'd rate the room high but the hallways and single elevator as low because they were stinky - gross but good for a laugh. And the hallways and our room was humid without constant fan and A/C but we were all about the beach so we didn't care. Finally, breakfast buffet was yummy and had so many options, our family was happy! My three gripes would be (1) expensive laundry machines ($2 a load), (2) the elevator smelled like fish so bad after wet beach-goers, and (3) hotel staff doesn't bring extra towels and bathroom stuff to your room, I had to go downstairs and get them. I'd stay here again because I love North Padre Island shores

This was perfect for an extended weekend family getaway. Everything included to cook your own meals if you wanted to bring your own food. Breakfast was provided and had many choices: eggs, sausage and waffles to oatmeal, fruit and cereal. The room was extremely clean and the staff very accomodating. Always friendly and provided excellent quick service. Location couldn't be any better. Quick walk across the street to the beach where there was a public access and showers to rinse your feet off when you were done. Close to shops and restaurants. Easy to find. Loved it will stay again.

Nice in quiet and the beds were very comfortable after a long day on the beach! Breakfast was good! Rooms were clean and staff was friendly! We had a great stay!

My wife and I spent two nights here; our main purpose was to be near the shore ( this is just across the street from shore access and sea wall). We spend time enjoying the island, not in a motel room; and this establishment perfectly suits our needs. It is extremely close to some wonderful eateries, gift shops, and fairly near Padre Island National Seashore. Staff is friendly, efficient, always available. We will definitely stay there again in the future. Biggest shortcoming is lack of an outdoor place to sit...no balconies or pool. However, as it is a very short walk from the beach-this is not a big drawback. Recommend.

Needed to switch my days and they wanted to charge me $70 extra bucks so when you book make sure you pick the right days and won't need to switch.
