BEST WESTERN Marina Grand Hotel

We were there in late April 2013 for a long weekend. The location is wonderful -- right there across from the marina, near lots of great dining and drinking -- but the hotel itself is of average quality. The full breakfast that's included in the stay is...meh. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy were the hot foods available to self serve, but the taste of the food was mediocre, and my husband couldn't believe the coffee came out of a push-button machine instead of a hot carafe. The room was fine. It includes a mini-fridge and microwave, but there was a constant humming in the room. I think it was the fridge, but it was a little distracting at night. TV - no HBO or premium channels, and the free internet was intermittent at best; non-functional at worst. This hotel is not cheap, price-wise, but we were glad we stayed there after seeing what the other hotels looked like. It's probably one of the best in that area.

I loved the sliding glass door, that allowed the great breeze from the Gulf of Mexico to come into our room. The free breakfast was fantastic and they did not charge extra for parking your car. The no smoking policy is great and it is enforced. I will stay there again.

Grand Marina Hotel was wonderful! Staff was courteous ,friendly and always had a smile! Hotel was clean up to date rooms were very spacious clean smelled great! Breakfast was awesome full bar with plenty to choose from hot breakfast was very filling. The pool was very clean Very Well Maintained! Not to forget the views from the rooms are Fantabulous!! We will definitely make this our "stay at hotel" when are in town ,we had a fabulous time!

This hotel was nice, and the staff very friendly. Clean rooms, a great size TV, and comfy beds. The breakfast was good and the complementary drink was a nice gift, over all great stay and views.

This hotel is right in front of the marina, excellent views, good restaurants at walking distance, ferry tour of the bay across the street, easy access from highways, nice staff, clean room, full breakfast, great value!

Our stay, was very enjoyable. The only negative comment my wife and I have is, that you were not able to adjust the room climate control.

My husband and I were here on a house hunting trip and stayed three nights. The hotel is close to lots of really good bar and restaurant choices downtown and right across from the ocean and marina. Would stay here again. There is noise on weekend nights from the nightclub a block away. I used my earplugs and slept peacefully. My husband had a harder time with no earplugs.

We were travelling around Texas and booked a night in Corpus Christi. This hotel is in a perfect location. Right on the marina and a five minute to the USS Lexington and the Aquarium. A nice complimentary breakfast on the top floor as also a bonus. If we ever make it back to CC we will definitely stay here.

This hotel has become my choice when I visit Corpus. It's a bit older but usually kept clean. Most rooms now have flat screens and all beds have been upgraded. All rooms have balconies. The shower heads need to be changed out with wider heads, the toilets are loud when neighbors flush and not all beds face the bay. Despite these things I love this hotel. Will continue to use it.
