Good Budget Hotel for Short Stay
The hotel was good considering it was a budget hotel with just the minimum I needed: cheap one night's stay, fairly comfortable with safe feeling, close to downtown. There was a bad part and that was that there were 2 crickets and a roach in my room & the floor felt damp, which is kinda icky. But like I said, I was only there to sleep for one night after an event in Austin.

Not bad
Overall was ok. We got in a bit late and the check in person was at the end of her shift. She seemed tired but still tried to help.

Ocho Motel is so, so.
Overall the stay in the hotel was alright, nothing special. For the price this is a good place to stay at. The staff (except for the morning check in person) looked like they where unhappy being there. Especially the night clerk, which was not even in her station at night. Overall it's an ok place to stay.

Okay room, great staff
Okay for the money. Staff was excellent, nice pool for the kids. It's neighborhood seemed a little rough.
