Never again
Went to the R.O.T. Biker Ralley, With my wife and a friend. Bad thing is Management did not take control to keep the entry way open to all guest, instead they allowed a group to congregate at the covered entrance. It was evident these bikers had no respect for others who had to try and manuver in and out of bikes just to gain entrance to the motel. The entryway should have been keep clear for all to use, not a select few to throw a private party night and day. It made it hard to carry things in and out with all the bikes blocking the entryway. Signs need to be put up. NO PARKING, NO EXCEPTIONS, Sign in, and Loading and unloading only. If there is no respect by bikers for others, there should be by the hotel management. I ride a Motorcycle, but try not to infringe on the rights and comfort of others, Biker or not.

Business Traveller on OWN nickel!
Excellent VALUE Hotel!
I travel regularly and was staying here on my own nickel to attend my son's graduation. About 30 days or so before the graduation I went through [...] and obtained a great deal on the room rate as I stayed for four days. I was not expecting this to be great but to my surprise the property is in excellent condition, newer rooms, nice room layout, etc., I was on the "pool side" of the property and found it very quiet, did not hear any Freeway noise from I-35. Their FREE breakfast was nice as it included hot fresh waffles, cereal, danish, bagels, coffee and juice, so I usually ate enough where I could skip lunch! The internet connection's wireless worked perfectly my entire time there, they had four different wireless routers to choose from. Ways they could improve: They need more tables and chairs for breakfast, I usually had to make my waffle and take it up to my room as I was typically coming down right before the breakfast time was up. Towels could be higher quality as could the soap. Location wise, it was just 5 minutes from downtown University of Texas campus! Perfect location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in town who is on their own nickel!

Great place to stay on a budget!
I had to come to Austin for my son's wedding but I am on a very tight budget. This hotel was not too expensive and the service was first class. The room was comfortable and clean.

Getting what you pay for...
Upon arrival there were some teens and other young adults just hanging out on the property at 2:00 AM. Allowing them hang by the front door and in the lot at that hour does not make a traveler feel safe because nothing good can happen from allowing teens out at that hour. There was also a suspicious car parked in the lot that looked like it was casing the joint was also noted with the desk attendant who did call security. Not a place I would stay again.

Not Bad...
Everything was as expected. Customer service was great. Wireless internet was spotty due to the room being way in the back. They should figure out a way to install an additional router so that the rooms in the back receive just as good coverage as those near the front of the hotel.

Good
Enjoyable. Just used it to sleep at, but staff was friendly, rooms were clean. The only bad thing was parking was limited in comparison to the number of rooms.

To the hotels side-it was a busy weekend. BUT we had listed for 3 people and asked for a room for three (and pd). The room they had for us was only good for two people. They finally upgraded us to a large suite which is what we should have been put in from the start. The rooms facing the highway are noisy, but nice rooms. We checked out and came back the next day and got the original room as we had lost our third person. That room was facing the back and was quiet. But they hadn't checked it very good. Missing shower curtain, soaps, towels, etc. Taken care of quickly by a very nice staff though. I would stay there again.
