Great value
While the Ramada Austin Central was hard to get to because of the by-ways, once we got in the hotel and to our room we were pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and the soundproofing was incredible. Despite being next to several overpasses, you could not hear a sound from outside. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and the complimentary breakfast buffet was outstanding. I would definitely recommend and visit again!

Very helpful staff, good location
The staff were very helpful with directions as well as being friendly and competent. The hotel is located well with easy access to nearby restaurants and to the interstate. We were very comfortable both within the hotel and in the surrounding area.

Short drive from hotel
Pappadeaux Seafood restaurant was a short drive away, easily accessible with directions from the hotel clerk. Although very crowded the weekend we visited, the wait for a table on Friday night was reasonable (45 minutes) and the food was fabulous.

Comfortable lodging for a busy trip
The Ramada Austin Central Hotel was well-located for the busy agenda i had while in Austin. I enjoyed the full breakfast that was available each morning, and the pool area was very nice --- not warm enough at the time to be in the water, but a pleasant setting nonetheless. My room was comfortable, spacious enough to spread out and relax and served me well for my week-long stay in Austin. Overall, i enjoyed my room and lodgings at this Ramada --- and would recommend it to any traveller.

Excellent place to stay
Ramada Austin - Central was referred to me by a friend as a clean convent place to stay and it was. Although not a 5 star luxury hotel, it was very clean and comfortable with network connections. For the price I was surprised to see they had a complementary breakfast buffet instead of a continental breakfast. Very convenient location and a great price.

Great place to stay for the price!!
We were there for one night to watch the opening match of Roller Derby. We got the room for $34.11 which included taxes. The room was clean and big enough for 3 adults. The bathroom is tiny but it doesn't need to be any bigger. We also got free breakfast, which saved each of us about $10, so we essentially got the room for $4.11! The breakfast is a hot one too, not just bagels and yogurt. It was pretty easy to get to once you figure it out with instant access to I-35 and it's 5 minutes from downtown! We would definitely stay again if we could get the same price.

Close to downtown and still cheap
The reason why I was going to Austin was for things downtown but didn't want to spend $150+ a night just to be in walking distance. This place is very nice and has all of the basics you need. All you have to do is jump on I35 south and you will be downtown in 10 mins depending on the time of day. It's an easy drive and I was very pleased with the rooms. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to be close to downtown but not wasting all of your vacation money on the hotel. Oh and the pool looked pretty nice but I went during February so I didn't get to use it
