Budget hotel four miles outside Austin with free wireless Internet
Just four miles from downtown Austin, the Ramada Austin Central hotel offers well-kept, quiet accommodations close to music venues, shopping and Austin attractions. Not too shabby
Better than I thought it would be for it's location. The room was clean. There was a nice little pool. The staff was nice at check in. Overall not a bad place to lay your head.

Short drive from hotel
There is a little hidden seafood place called Quality Seafood, nearby. It has been around for many many years and they just did a remodel. Some nights there is live entertainment.

Good location, good hotel
Good location for getting around Austin. Appreciate the full breakfast--just didn't have fruit over the weekend. Price is good value. Didn't use fitness or pool this time, but nice to have those amenities available.

good place to stay
it is nice hotel close to downtown. clean and easy to find, near 290 and I35 so it is pretty good for transportation

Just 1 night
We needed a hotel close to downtown but for a reasonable price and this one was fine. The beds were not that comfortable but it was clean and served its purpose. It was a little further from downtown that I would have liked and it costs us about $15 for a cab ride plus tip. Missed the free breakfast so can't comment on that.

Can't think of a nickname
Good for the price
The location itself is a bit annoying and if you miss the exit coming south you'll have quite a bit of turning around to get back... so don't miss the turn! Besides that, no complaints. Great breakfast in the morning.

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel while in town for a quick business trip. This is a good inexpensive hotel.
