Upscale accommodations in a downtown lakeside setting

Great hotel, great location
Great location - close enough to airport and near downtown. also great view of night life from room. Staff was friendly, helpful, and handled a last minute change for room request perfectly.

Great place to stay
The rooms are spacious. The staff was very accomodating. TGI Friday's which is located inside the hotel had very friendly staff. The hotel is walking distance to the convention center.

good location but poor bed linen
Fantastic location within walking distance to all great sights, restaurants, museums. We asked to move from the first room, which had a lovely views, because of water leaking from the bathroom ceiling and the bed linens looked used/creased. Then we moved to another room but right opposite to the noisy main road with the same feel of creased/used bed linens. However, staff were friendly and Starbucks is located inside hotel.

Great location
I did not get the room I was suppose to get. I booked a 2 bed lake view and paid extra for it, and did not get it. this was very upsetting to me, and i will never use orbitz again.

Great location - for bats!
Austin has a bridge with the largest urban bat population in the world. They come out every night at sundown for dinner. We're talking a million bats! This is the best view there is. Awesome sight! By the way, the rest of the hotel was just fine.

Kind of disappointing....
Room was not ready when we showed up at 4:00. The garage elevator was out of order in the morning. There was no sign directing us to the garage stairs... kind of hard to find. We had to haul our luggage up four flights of stairs to our vehicle.

If you are a runner... you will love the location. Do yourself a favor and pack your running shoes. The trail next to the river is one of the prettiest runs I've done.

Hotel was in a great location
The Radisson was in a great location to view the nightly feeding of the bats. Also great for the 4th of July fireworks, could not see from the room, but a very short walk outside to the Congress Bridge. Only 1 Restaurant onsite and the parking was very expensive. Otherwise was very pleased.

Austin Trip - Radisson Hotel June 09
Spent time on 5th and 6th street, celebrating a friend's birthday and another ones last weekend as a single man. Had a blast and the hotel was in a prime location.

Nice Hotel
Very nice and convenient. Employees are especially nice and helpful. Booked through Orbitz and it was so easy and a great value. We will do it again!
