Luxury downtown Austin hotel
Guests enter the Omni Austin Hotel to an impressive atrium lobby with high ceilings that let in natural light. A few blocks from the Texas State Capitol and the best bars and restaurants, the hotel spoils with stunning views of downtown Austin. The heated rooftop pool provides a great place to play during the day or relax at night under the stars. On-site restaurants at the Omni Austin include the Atrium Lounge and Southwestern-flavored Ancho's.

Good dowtown location
Hotel is very well located, close to 6th street. When we booked it looked like the breakfast was included but that was not the case. The pool is very small and not friendly to use. In fact we just turn around and went back to the room. There is no SPA. The room was very comfortable and clean. I will stay there again.

Family getaway
The room was nothing special at the look of it, but the beds were super comfortable with nice sheets and comforters. The room was very clean and even though our remote control froze at one point, the staff was extremely helpful and came to fix it right away as we were out of the room. They left us 4 yummy truffles for our troubles! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The pool worked out great- shallow (3 feet) but great for my 7 year old and her friend! really convenient location- concierge was super helpful:)

Stay at Omni for SXSW

Omni experience
Great location. Friendly service. Amazing cleanliness and good staff. Only gripe was the bathroom lighting. Very dark in the shower. Also the towels were very harsh. Overall - solid hotel

Great! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was cozy, quiet and inviting. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious. We had the breakfast buffet one morning and a burger one evening. Both great! The concierge made us a reservation at a restaurant then sent us 2 shrimp cocktails during dinner- Wow, thank you Sandra! The hotel was convienient to lots of shops, restaurants & the Capital Bldg. The only negative is we didn't have a view of Austin from our room. We were staring at air ducts and valet pkg.

Try the Duck Tours to get to know Austin! Lots of fun and the tour guide is a wealth of knowledge and very funny too!

Great location close to 6th!
We only stayed for one night, but it was great! One room was ready when we arrived, the other was not but they called us shortly after to let us know it was ready. The view was wonderful, the rooms were clean, and the location downtown was also great.

It's good.
What can I say? It's a clean, well-run big hotel. I've got no complaints about the rooms or the amenities. It's not necessarily the cheapest option but it's not bad at all.

Omni never disappoints!
What a great hotel! Everything was clean, well cared for and very comfortable! Was a bit disappointed that the only way to park was for $18/ day in their own lot and I was not told about this until check in.
