Outskirts Getaway
The front desk didn't always get everythjng right. They didn't bother with all the detsils & worked it out without a lot of hassle. If you like a getaway outside of all the crazy traffic but close enough to the city this is the place. The employees made this stay a great stay. The room was an average room with an average bathroom. What stood out for us was the front desk employees who went out of their way to accommodate us when they appeared to over booked. We were in town for a wedding that was just west od Austin, so this was agreat location. Parking is a little tight but that is part of its quaintness.

I'd recommend it heartily
I attended a festival at the new location of The Backyard. The hotel was less than a mile from the event site. There is a huge outlet mall complex less than two miles away and downtown Austin is less than 20 minutes away. The staff was very helpful. They put a rollaway in my room for a friend who decided to come up at the last minute. Their free breakfast is decent; good coffee, orange juice, milk, cereal and waffles plus some other items. Room was really clean and had its own little patio overlooking the pool. The pillows were really soft and the water pressure in the shower was great!

There is a giant outlet mall complex not very far away so if you enjoy shopping, you can easily fill up your car with finds, return back to the hotel then go right back out again.

The hotel was wonderful. I plan on staying there again. There was a mixup on the room charge. I also added an additional night in which they wanted me to switch rooms rather than correct problem in computer.

Older than expected.
With the price of the room, I expected it to be more updated. It was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
