Was not sure about location when i booked the room online, but found it to be in a very desirable location with all shopping and venues in close proximity. Very clean and family friendly, although I was not thrill with the pet policy, I should have to view others people's pets pooping, overall not a bad experience at all.

Employment Testing
When I checked in the night before testing as a part of a job application process, the clerk was friendly and nice enough to warn me that there were about 100 13-year-olds in the hotel. I was fore-warned for a crowd at breakfast, and the clerk at the front desk in the morning helped me to choose the quickest route to the testing location. Top notch for such a busy morning surrounded by young teens!

Great Choice for North Austin
This hotel is like new, the staff is great, the pool is wonderful for the kids, and the free breakfast is awesome. The room was clean and super cheap--a great value. Downtown Austin and the south side of town are easilly accessible by a quick 10 minute ride down the Mo-Pac Freeway. There is also a brand new shopping mall with lots of restaurant choices adjacent to the hotel.

Mothers Day Getwawy
Our room was nice and comfortable with two full size beds. The staff was a little unprepared and tired when we check in around 9pm. The main reason we chose this particular hotel was because they allow dogs. This was a major plus to our trip. Overall the hotel was suitable for a quick stay with everything we needed.

Clean and Convenient
This hotel is really nice. It is by a really nice shopping center and close to downtown Austin as well. We spent most of our trip on 6th street and still thought this hotel was in a good location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was the nicest La Quinta I have ever been to. They also had a pretty good free breakfast. Overall, a really good experience. I can't wait to get back to Austin!

regular room with yuck spots
crusty stain on bathroom counter, crusty stain on table, dirty bathtub(used soap and shampoo left in dirty tub), rotten bag of tomatoes outside the door under the air unit, and white stain on the headboard that I didnt see until morning!

Great for the price!
I was very impressed! Nice building and clean rooms. However, the only complaint I had was that my GPS did not pick up the address; it led me to a dark, dead end street when I entered 11901 North Mopac. When I called the hotel for directions, they informed me that is common with GPS and that you must put a dash between "mo" and "pac". That would have been nice to know before traveling especially since it seems to have happened several times before to other travelers trying to find the hotel. But the hotel and rooms were very nice for the price :) I would use them again.

Turned out to be a very convenient location to the wedding site, was clean and comfortable. Was very cool in the room on arrival but couldn't quite get it right following my adjustment to the thermostat and had a warm night. Should have asked for help. Was a friendly staff I'm quite sure would have assisted.
