attending a staff gathering

Friendly, accommodating, attractive, clean, comfortable, and an excellent breakfast buffet. I couldn't have asked for more. OK, maybe I would have liked a bathtub; that open shower seemed a bit awkward to me. But really, it was an excellent hotel. I would definitely stay here again and again.

Can't Go Wrong With Hyatt

I usually stay at the Hyatt a little closer to town, but they weren't offering any special rates this time. My room here was exactly like the room at the other Hyatt... very spacious with a separate area for relaxing and watching TV as well as a nice desk for taking care of business. The beds are great. My two daughters and their boyfriends came to visit and there was more than enough room for us to relax. We ordered a movie, pizza, and watched it on the great 42 inch TV that is strategically swivel-mounted to be viewed from anywhere. I wouldn't stay anywhere else while visiting my daughters in Austin. Both locations are good. This location has the advantage of being surrounded by shopping and restaurants. The other location is a little closer to downtown and I-35. They arte botth 5 stars based on my experience. Oh, and the staff was great!

Family together

My children and grandchildren visited me. The room was spacious. We opened christmas presents and the children had plenty of room to put together their construction sets. Other than the carpet near the shower needing replacong a torn area it was nice. I was very upset though because I found them listed on a pet friendly site thinking my dog I was traveling with could stay with me. There was no disclosure of the pet rate on the website and after booking the room for a good non-refundable rate I was told it would be $150 for my pet.. I don't call that pet friendly. Fortunately I had a friend that volunteered to keep my dog.

Arboretum stay made pleasant

This is a great value for what you get! Friendly staff, good breakfast, and a very comfortable room! Arboretum area is quite central, and not so crazy with traffic as opposed to a downtown location.

Okay for an overnight stay

The price is good but you get what you pay for. The beds were a bit hard for my taste and I remember waking up in the middle of the night because of the traffic noise coming from the highway. Rooms are spacious and can sleep between four to six people easily. They also have a little refrigerator in each room. A free breakfast is offered between 6:30am and 9:30am. The staff is extremely helpful and quick to please. Will definitely stay here again but I probably won't stay more than one night at a time.

Breakfast?

Breakfast at this location is nothing but carbs and cheese. There was no sausage, scrambled eggs, or breakfast meat of any kind except on the breakfast sandwiches which was a thing slice of bacon (covered in cheese and carb heavy). There were donuts, bagels, and breakfast biscuits. I need breakfast protein please!
