Comfortable stay
I'm not a fan of the new biz model with the Bistro - much prefer traditional comp breakfast buffet and coffee in the lobby (or even their previous fabulous breakfast buffet for which they charged) but this was the best priced, last-minute deal. Located in the upscale Arboretum area, it is within walking distance of good restaurants, shopping and cinemas. Rooms are very clean and comfy and the a/c is quiet and efficient. We were in town for a wedding and the location was a short drive to both the wedding downtown and the rehearsal dinner at Lake Travis.

Short walk from hotel
Recommend the Marie Calendar's restaurant right across the street. Good casual breakfast and lunch venue with fabulous pastries and a wonderful and inexpensive soup and salad bar. Good shopping, including Nordstrom's outlet in the same shopping center.

Friendly, excellent service
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this clean and quiet room. The staff were extremely friendly. When my key didn't work, they made me another promptly and then slipped a card under my door while I was out to dinner. The card had a note of apology along with a coupon for a free item from their little market. I would definitely stay again.

Great price and handy location
This is our second time staying in Northwest Austin as we have friends living closeby. The first time we stayed next door at the Residence Inn. This time we decided to stay at the Courtyard as we didn't need a kitchen. We were travelling with 2 kids under 5 so we had a king size bed and a sofa bed. This worked out well. The room was very clean and modern and it was a good size for the 4 of us. If we hadn't been visiting our friends for meals, we may have gone for the Residence Inn again. This was a bit more upmarket than the Residence Inn but the lobby did feel quite small. The indoor pool was great and ideal for cooling off in the hot Austin sun. We had breakfast at the hotel on the Sunday which was included in our room price. I was not expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. We were the only ones in the restaurant and we got great service from the staff. She was very attentive and helpful. The food was good for that type of breakfast and everyone was happy! We were very happy with the Courtyard for a few nights stay. It is a bit of a drive to downtown Austin but it suited us as we were visiting friends in the area. There are lots of amenities close to the hotel- shops, restaurants etc so it suited us well in that respect too.

Not what was promised
The room was advertised as King bed, sofabed and living sitting area. I had a small, cramped room with king bed. It was clean, the staff was friendly, but not what Orbitz had advertised.
