Check in was great, fabulous gentleman greeted me was quick and helpful. Clean rooms, easy access to every thing. Right off the high way. It was to cool to swim but pool and hot tub looked like they needed to be filtered. Everything else was great!

Not a 4-star hotel by ANY means

This was advertised as a 4-star boutique hotel, so I assumed I was getting a great deal. The pictures on-line looked great. However, the property is run down with shoddy repairs, the staff have no clue about customer service and professionalism, and other than the cool shower, there is nothing special about this hotel. I travel a lot for business, so trust me when I say you are much better served overall by a Courtyard or Garden Inn. If it weren't for the fact that I needed to be close to the airport and I only needed a clean room to sleep in for a few hours, I would have moved hotels.

Needs attention to details

Check in was slow, once in our no smoking room, we found a cup full of cigarette butts and broken glass on the balcony. It was quickly cleaned up, but I stepped on a piece of broken glass in the room the next day. Walls and ceiling need attention to, sheetrock and paint needs to be touched up. Saturday night the bar was closed because the bartender "worked for tips" and no one was asking for drinks so they closed up early....beautiful chandelier in the main room was not turned on because the light bulbs were burned out.... Room was a great size, bed was comfortable. We had a corner room with lots of nice windows and light.

Needs a little TLC

Hotel is looking a little run down from a year ago when I first went there. The first room they put me in had neighbors who were a little frisky and noisy so they moved me. Good plan, but the room was a bunker - no WiFi or cell phone coverage - I grinned and beared it but this hotel needs some TLC

Good Hotel Outside of Austin

Clean hotel just outside of Austin with comfortable beds and a daily continental breakfast. Would recommend for the individual traveler although not for a family destination.

Weekend Getaway

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is very beautiful, trendy, modern. There was always a staff member around to help us. I gave amenities 4 stars simply because the breakfast wasn't anything special. The location is actually really great. If any of you have never been to Austin and are afraid that this hotel is not close to the Downtown Area have no fear!!! It is literally a 10 minute drive to Downtown. You are also in close proximity to I-35, 290/71, South Lamar, South First, and South Congress (aka SoCo).

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

While you're in Austin try the food stands. The idea of a food stand has really grown in the past few years, but I think it really makes Austin unique and is something to experience. There are several food stand communities in Austin...main ones being on South Congress, South First, and South Lamar. Do a quick search on-line to see if you find one that interests you, or ask an Austinite (sp?). They can give you great tips on the best ones!

Great weekend escape!

I completely enjoyed the experience! It was the first time I'd stayed here and the bed was divine. The hotel was easy to locate and the staff was so polite! Additionally, it was so quiet and "zenlike" .... I especially enjoyed taking a relaxing bath in the awesome tub. I will be back again!

We went to Jack Allen's Kitchen and I'd give it 5 stars! Delightful plus reasonable with only a short drive down highway 71 which is near the hotel.

Just ok

The room was nice and had a very nice shower. While the room was nice the wall between the shower and the bedroom is glass which in my opinion makes it unfriendly for a family. The hot tub was not working and the staff needs work. In my opinion you would be better off staying at the Wyndham right next door. Their staff was very friendly and their hot tub was working and clean.
