Not Very Clean
I have stayed at other Baymont hotels which were nice, that's why I chose this one when making online reservations. The floor, chair, even the sheets had concerning stains. I won't stay there again.

Good Location!
Hotel had a great location, easy access to the highway in and out! The room was very clean with average amenities!!

Great for an overnight stay
Was super pleasantly surprised because the hotel looked a little ghetto on the outside but the room was so cute and the beds super comfy! The ONLY bad thing I have to say is that we had a non smoking room and the people next door kept smoking and it was like coming in through the bathroom vents which was annoying.

I will definitive book a room again!
I booked a 2 double bed room with my friend and both of us love it!! the room was clean, the area was quiet. I did not have any problems while my friend and I were there. There is a Denny's next to the parking lot. I found the perfect place to stay over anytime that I want to go to Austin!

Not family oriented
First of all the rooms were nothing like the pictures online. I didn't even stay so I lost out on money and went to stay at another hotel. The location was just bad. As soon as we went to look at our room, homeless people were asking for money, cigarettes, and beer... bad experience ....

Great for the Price
It's not 5 star by any means but great bargain if you're just looking for a decent place to crash in Austin. Room was relatively clean yet dated. Continental breakfast was actually pretty good considering what the price of the room. Overall, I was pleased.

If your just passing thru
The motel is in need of a revamping. The carpet in the first room we got was wet so we moved to another room that was adequate. The carpeting needs to be replaced as does the furniture over years of use. The bed was clean as was the bathroom. If you are just passing thru I would say it is a good value but if you stay for more than a couple of days I would go elsewhere.

Mouth of Sauron
Free wifi not a guaranteed right
The wifi router was in an adjacent room and when that room was occupied it would shut off every time the other guest turned off his lights. The front desk referred me to a tech hotline that couldn't do anything about the problem and it took days to reestablish consistent service despite my frequent requests for assistance. Finally when other guests had similar problems the management listened to my assessment of the situation and it was quickly resolved by changing the router to a different plug that wasn't connected to a switch.
