This place needs help
A very nice looking place, updated and spacious, but we experienced some very dissatisfying things. One, we could not check in until 6PM; because there was no one to clean the room, or some such excuse. Meaning we had to wander around for 3 hours until we could freshen up for our evening activities. 2nd, They would not extend our checkout the next day beyond noon, meaning we did not have any extra leisure time here. In addition, there were loud and overly boisterous guests who tread up and down the hallways until past 3AM, which means we got very little sleep. The front desk clerk just laughed when I mentioned this saying,that it was a bridal shower...like their fun means I lost the night's sleep. The only positive item: the hot chocolate machine in the lobby, which we had to use repeatedly.

Good surprise
There was only one previous review of this recently renovated hotel, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was GREAT! Worst thing was the traffic out front on I-35, but that's life in Austin. That was the only downer. Excellent included breakfast.

Busy travels
Never again
Although the hotel has been recently remodeled, it still leaves a lot to be desired. It took the front desk clerk 20 minutes to check me in, even though I had a reservation. The fact that she continued to make me wait to take call after call did not help. The accomodations were uncomfortable, and there was too much road noise.
