Trip w/ Sis to see the city

The hotel was very conveniently located. It was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. It was a very nice and friendly place to stay at. The Opry Backstage Grille was a nice place to dine and relax. I would definitely recommend this hotel and had a great time in Nashville!

The Inn at Opryland

I was pleased with most everything except the extreme chlorine smell emitted by the interior pool. Fortunately I had an outside room so was only exposed to it while traveling the halls.

extremely disappointed in the hotel

Dirty Filthy hotel. No amenities offered. Beds poorly made. Cobwebs hanging from the crown molding. Observed the housekeeper wiping off floor molding with a filthy floor mop! Hallways & Isleways with cigarette butts for the 3 day visit. Pool closed at 7:00 pm. No outdoor area to sit & relax (except outside the bar facing the parking lot) On the positive: shuttle offered to the Grand Ole Opry Hotel (grande ole opry hotel, was magnificent!)

pool hours

My only complaint is that the pool/spa was locked after 7 on weekdays & 9 on weekends. I would have liked to use it later.

Not what I would of thought

Yes it's not the Opryland Hotel but expected a little more since it had the Gaylord Hotel name. Rooms small but very nice, view of Shoneys from the room not great. After a night at TPAC to see Wicked it would have been nice if the Bar would have been open for a night cap but instead paid $3.00 for a 20oz pepsi. Don't think I'll be back

business trip

It was close to my meeting. It was clean and neat and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the live music. My only negative was at check out. We had asked the night before that they call a cab for us. In the morning we were told they had. However, it never came and the main concern of the staff at the desk was that e know that the hotel had nothing to do with the cab. I asked if this was unusual and she said it had been happening. As a guest I had no idea that it was happening and it would have been nice had the desk mentioned it and offered other suggestions for getting to the airport. We eventually went to the highway and waved down our own cab as no one had any other suggestions for us. I did not hold the hotel responsible for the cab not coming but the lack of any interest in helping us made me not want to come back.

Family stay in Nashville

The Hotel is very close to Opryland Hall with constantly running shuttle buses. The Hotel is new and clean, nice amenities. We had an outside room which means it was close to a main street. Thus it was very loud. Also the shuttle buses stopped in front of our room, waiting for half an hour without shutting the motor off. The room was new and clean. But the new carpet and furniture outgased strongly which caused us a terrible headache. We wouldn't stay there again, at least not in an outside room.

Grand Ole Opry weekend

Took my daughter to the 40th anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry and we stayed at the Inn at Opryland. The free shuttle to and from the outlet mall was a great service, as well as to the Opry that night. The food at the Backstage Grill was delicious!! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in 3 hours early!!!! Our room had 2 sleep number beds - what a nice treat :-)

Deceitful advertising

We booked through a travel site and were given the option of choosing which type room we wanted. On arrival we were told that there were no rooms available of the type we had booked and PAID FOR IN ADVANCE and that we would have to take it up with the travel site. After we complained to the travel site and they contacted the hotel, the hotel finally gave us a partial refund. That did not change the fact that we had booked a quiet interior room and had to sleep instead in a noisy exterior room overlooking a busy highway. At least the room we got was nice.
