Trip w/ Sis to see the city

The hotel was very conveniently located. It was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. It was a very nice and friendly place to stay at. The Opry Backstage Grille was a nice place to dine and relax. I would definitely recommend this hotel and had a great time in Nashville!

clean & comfortable

we stayed at the hotel as an alternative to Opryland for a spur-of-the-moment night out. The trip went well and the hotel met all of our expectations. The hotel and room were clean. Our only problems were: 1) snack and soda machines on our floor were not working, and 2) the vent in the bathroom was loud and dusty.

Not Worth the price!

I booked the Inn at Opryland on the 4Stars. It was most certainly was not that high of a rating. A ground floor in the back of the hotel was what was offered on our arrival, it was noisy from the hotel staff cleaning carpets at 9 pm, to people smoking outside talking loudly at 6am and staff also moving carts in and Out of the doors letting them slam shut. I'm sure an interior room would be significantly quieter. The room was clean, still smelled of bleach and other cleaning products. If I hadn't booked online I would have moved to another hotel. On the plus side, it's very close to Opryland and the Opry Mills Mall.

It was "ok" for my daughter's birthday getaway

I took my daughter and 2 of her friends to Nashville for the weekend for her 15th birthday. The hotel was sufficient - clean and comfortable, staff was nice, location was great. Disappointed in the cleaning staff - our room had 4 people in it, and all of us drink coffee. The coffee supplies provided weren't even enough for 1 person. When I went in the hallway to ask a maid for more supplies, she said she didn't have any. I just looked at her in disbelief, so she started digging in a bag - all the while still having a phone conversation! I was an annoyance, rather than a valued/appreciated customer. Then in the morning my daughter went to the lobby to get me coffee (because there wasn't any in the room!!) and found only a Starbucks coffee vending machine that charged $3 a cup! There were no complimentary services of any kind - no coffee, danishes, no microwave or fridge in the room. I travel a lot, and it's nice to have SOMETHING complimentary like cookies and coffee to make a guest feel welcome. Cheaper hotels do that! I live south of Nashville and stay the weekend downtown for fun a couple of times a year..... overall, the hotel was adequate, but I won't be staying here again, just because I didn't feel valued as a customer.

Wonderful stay at a great hotel

We come to this hotel everytime we go to Nashville. We would not stay at any other hotel. The staff are so friendly, and we always get a wonderful room. It is just across the street from the Grand Ole Opry, and there is bus service to the Grand Ole Opry and to the General Jackson steamboat, so you don't have to worry trying to find your car when you get out of the Opry.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The best tip I could give you is that you can leave your car at the hotel and forget it until you are ready to leave. A lot of resturants are in walking distance, such as Bob Evans, Cracker Barrel, Mc Donalds, just to name a few.
