Fine for a night

Great for a family to stay a couple of nights. Pretty much a plain ordinary hotel room.

weekend visit

The room was nice and for the price -- compared to the downtown hotels -- it was close to downtown. I'm used to a softer bed, so I felt the beds at the hotel were hard. Depends on what you're used to sleeping on. The indoor pool room was overwhelmed with chlorine that it burned my eyes. Was great for a quick dip and a 15 min spa!

Outside of TOWN

Clean, suite type room, safe location. A little far from downtown Nashville, no shuttles but plenty of parking in town. Friendly staff and great breakfast.

nashville getaway

Hotel was clean and relatively nice. Small closet but room itself was spacious. Would have been a problem if I stayed longer. Hotel is close to downtown but with free parking and internet. It was an easy and quick drive to the Bridgestone arena. Breakfast was only ok but it was free!

Neely's barbecue is located in the complex across the street on the other end. The ribs and sides were fantastic!

Close to Downtown without Downtown Price

We checked-in about 8:45 pm. Upon entering the hotel, everything looked very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and greeted me as I was coming in the door. Check-in was flawless. We chose Spring Hill suites because it was close to downtown (only about 2.5 miles) but the price was more budget friendly. The room was very nice--we had a king size bed and there was a sitting area with a sofa, microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was also a nice size, with the sink on the outside, so I could do my makeup, while my husband was in the shower. We called the front desk around 9:00 pm, to see how we could get a cab (we were going to the bars downtown to meet friends) and they called a cab for us, even calling our room at 9:25 to let us know the cab was here. The staff was very eager to help, so just make sure you let them know if you need something. It was in a quiet area of town, but felt very safe. The cab was only $12 to get downtown ($24 round-trip) and well worth the money. Breakfast was served from 6:30-10:00 and was really good--they had waffles, eggs, sausage, bagels, danish rolls, cereal, oatmeal--a very good variety. Check-out was very easy. We will definitely stay there again the next time we are in Nashville.

Nightlife tip: Short drive from hotel

There is something for everyone downtown--we really enjoyed The Stage (on Broadway) but also had a lot of fun at Coyote Ugly. If you are planning on going downtown to the bars, we highly recommend taking a cab--for less than $30 round-trip, you know you will be able to have fun and get home safely. There were plenty of cabs downtown, so it didn't take anytime to find one, when we were ready to call it a night.
