A True VALUE
The Ramada Nashville Downtown Hotel is a true value for the $$$. All I ask for in a hotel is location and cleanliness and this facility has both. It was an easy walk to The Ryman and the Downtown attractions.

Jimmy Buffet St Somewhere
All that this place has going for it is it is right in front of the Titans Stadium. But it was the only place available for the concert. Things went downhill as soon as they informed me of the $10 parking fee surcharge. For close to $200 a night, I should get parking for 1 vehicle. The room was dirty and loud from the interstate noise. The AC also did not work but it was at least cool outside. The breakfast was substandard and the coffee was undrinkable. I will never be back. One cheap outfit.

Stop on the Way
We were on our way back from Florida. Nashville was a good stopping point. We were looking for a cost efficient place to spend the night before completing our final leg home the next day. There was remodeling going on and the location was right off of I-24.

Supposed Weekend Retreat
As soon as we pulled up there were interesting looking people in the parking lot smoking cigarettes and drinking beer at 3pm on Friday afternoon. The lobby was underwhelming. The staff was having a discussion with a guest on the phone as I am trying to check in, room asking them to keep it down and they had been smoking and being loud in the room. We get to the room and it is just a room, no closet, ancient window treatments and uncomfortable pillows. Our room stinks of stale smoke. It is perfect for a guys weekend or tailgate hotel where you are getting drunk beyond the point of caring where you lay down. But otherwise I would stay elsewhere...

TEARFUL IN TRAFFIC
TRAFFIC HORROR
Awful. We had to drive around in traffic for almost two hours because streets were blocked due to games at the stadium. During this ordeal, I called the hotel for suggestions on how to get through, they said we'd have to drive around unless we could find a "nice officer" that would let us through, but that was doubtful. Couldn't that information have been given to us before we went anywhere?

Titans Gameday
Read the fine print when booking to see that the hotel does charge an "event fee" for parking, but notice that it doesn't tell you an amount. Make sure to call in advance and ask about the additional parking charge. Ours was $40, and you even have to pay that if you bring your car to the hotel AFTER the game. I was able to park overnight across the river for $17 and do a little bit of walking. Other than that, the hotel was fairly ordinary. Nothing too special, but nothing to be concerned about.

Great for game / night(s) out
Don't listen to the haters that complain about everything... Anyways, I came to Nashville to see a football game and go out on the town. The stadium was right across the street, and the the downtown area was a 15 minute walk, perfect. The room was great, everything I expected from a hotel chain (clean, staff was very helpful, A/C worked great). And the short walk to the downtown area saved me money because I didn't have to pay for a taxi. Overall, I enjoyed my stay in a great, clean and friendly city. If you are deciding to attend a game and go out on the town, snag this specific hotel. You will be very happy.

Short walk from hotel
Go see a football game if you have the opportunity! Even if you aren't a fan of the teams playing, it's a great inexpensive time and the atmosphere is great.

Great hotel, slightly noisy on the weekends
The hotel is in a perfetct location, walking distance from the Broadway strip, and perfectly priced for my needs. I have stayed at this hotel twice now, and the rooms are clean and staff is as helpfull as can be. The only issue we had this time around was with noisy guests. Both friday and saturday nights there were several guests in the pool at 3 am. Super cool that the pool is attatched and enclosed, BUT theres no way to keep the slightly inebriated guests from waking the rest of the building.
