Great for business in the med center area

The evening staff was extremely friendly and helpful as I checked in. The rooms were clean and comfortable and it was well located for my traveling plans. There were quite a few options for dining within walking distance. I felt quite safe in the area.

You,re paying for the location at Vanderbilt. This is the first Hampton ( we,ve stayed at many ) to not serve breakfast, despite the fact that rates were greatly increased for the SEC basketball tourney.

Great Location

Great hotel. Would definitely stay here again. Perfect location. Close to downtown. Walking distance to Vanderbilt and Centenial Park with Parthanon. Staff could be a little more informed. Curtains were not quite wide enough to block out all of the morning sun, and they were working on the parking lot during our stay which was inconvenient. Otherwise, great value and appreciated the complimentary breakfast and all-day coffee.

Good location - Average hotel

This Hampton Inn is in a nice location... very close to Vanderbilt. It is an older property, and the rooms are very dark. I had difficulty seeing in the tiny closet. The breakfast requires a trip outside and down some stairs...not the usual Hampton lobby breakfast. The price was very reasonable. It was fairly quiet, and the beds were comfortable. Again, just very dated in appearances.

Nothing special

Okay, but nothing great. It is an older hotel under renovation. Very close to Vanderbuilt and a good ways from Nashville downtown. Free breakfast was nice, lobby area small and room was noisy due to location by the elevator. Exterior doors let in a lot of sound as well.

The 'Redneck Comedy Bus Tour' was great. Everyone on board had a blast. Inexpensive and a tour all around town.

good location

Nice renovated room. Comfortable bed. Clean. Hotel under construction, so no fitness center available, which was disappointing. Should be finished with construction in Dec 2011. Good location next to Vandy and can walk to a number of restaurants. I would stay there again.
