Great place near Vanderbilt
Nice, clean hotel within walking distance to Vanderbilt university. My son and I stayed here while he checked out the university and it couldn't have worked out better.

Great stay
Modern, clean ,comfortable, friendly staff. We did'nt walk down town, the weather was cold and windy, I would walk it in good weather, cab ride 4 people less than 10 bucks. Great stay for the money.

Long walk from hotel
Rippey's for ribs, accross from bridgestone theater, very busy if ther's a concert, great food.

expensive for a hotel in remodel
This is a fine place to stay normally. Very convenient to Vanderbilt. However, they are in a never ending remodel but they have not dropped their prices. Also, they do not tell you on their web site that they are remodeling. My husband and I stayed here in October and a large portionof the parking was taken over by cranes and the laundry rooms were out of service. This time, at least,one of the 2 elevators was out most of the time. Breakfast is good, even for a dieter. But I found the bed this time to be uncomfortable. Plus their wireless was out for over 24 hours.

Great Stay at the Hampton!
I don't travel a lot but sometimes I get the chance to travel. I booked this hotel like I do others, before I ever leave my house. I have paid way to much for some rooms but this isn't the case. WOW is all I could say! I will definitely stay at the Hampton from now on. "even if I have to drive a few more miles"

The Exit/In is only maybe 1 block away from this hotel. Awesome live music with top name artist!

Family visit
The hotel was very comfortable, the bed was great. Many choices for breakfast tho seating was at a premium. Outside eating was a little uncomfortable due to the heat and lack of umbrellas or awnings. Staff were all very friendly.

Nice hotel
One of the nicest rooms I have ever had. The two room suite was huge and recently remodeled. Very nice. Close proximity to the Parthenon/park and some restaurants. The only negative was that there was some sort of baseball tourney in town so the hotel was over run by high schoolers. Could not use the pool because of this. Otherwise very nice hotel.

Great pool!
In the midst of major renovations. Pool area is finished and very nice. Would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay!
We were in town for the International Trombone Festival at Vanderbilt. We were close to everything. Short drive to the river front area, Vandi was very close, the events of ITF were within walking distance at times. The breakfast staff worked very hard keeping items filled even with a hotel filled with teenagers from a swim meet. Everything was clean, the staff was kind, and we were very pleased!
