Good if you're here on business

Wi-Fi was easy to use. Staff was accommodating. Free breakfast had several options. Overall very clean and convenient. The construction wasn't fun to look at but it's wasn't noisy or inconvenient to be near.

Ate dinner at THE SOUTHERN, a modern Southern restaurant about 2 blocks away. Food was great but it didn't have a traditional Nashville feel.

romantic getaway

From the moment we arrived the staff was overly friendly and extremely helpful. One morning at breakfast the manager came up to us and asked where we were from and what our plans were later that day. We hadn't decided on anything specific, he suggested we take a trolly ride around the city and take a tour of the rhyman auditorium. We took his advise and our trip there was the most fun we'd had in a long time. The room was amazingly comfortable and the continental breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from.

Must go to tootsies for the music, rippy's for the ribs, and the ryhman auditorium for the experience.

Location, Location

The location was perfect! The Hotel was average, to me not worth the $235 per night. Our room was clean, but nothing to get excited about.

Construction Junction

Overall the hotel was just fine, if it wasn't for the fact that they made no concession for placing us in a room directly across from a construction project that began at 6:30 am and lasted until after 5:00 pm every evening. We came as a group of four separate couples and all paid the same amount even though the rooms varied remarkably. One family had a very large room on the quiet side of the building. One had a handicapped room on the construction side (they aren't handicapped). Another room was very small on the quiet side and we had a moderately large room on the construction side. They should have prorated our room for all the noise! No mention was made prior to our arrival.

Overall great experience. Would have liked to know about the parking situation prior to getting to the hotel. You pay $22 - $25 per night for parking.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Go to Pancake Pantry. It's worth the wait. There is always a line so expect at least a 30 minute wait. It was by far the best breakfast that I have ever had.

Alison Krauss Concert Weekend

This was our second trip to Nashville. We came into town to see Alison Kraus at the Ryman. The location is excellent. We were in walking distance to everything. The rooms are large and comfortable. The free breakfast is great. Helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Hotel Great Location

We chose our hotel strictly based on the price, not knowing anything about the area. It wound up being the perfect location because it was within walking distance to downtown Nashville and many other sites. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and prompt. During the week that we traveled to Nashville there was a lot of construction going on in the street right outside of our hotel. The staff made sure to put us in a room that was on the opposite side of the building so that we would not be disturbed by the construction. The only reason why I did not give the rooms 5 stars is because at times our room smelled a little bit musty, however it was not enough to ruin our wonderful stay at this hotel.

Money-saving tip: In Hotel

Most hotels & parking garages charge over $20/day to park. Look for parking on the street -- sometimes it would take a few minutes but we were always able to find free street parking.
