The Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville is ideal for travelers looking for a centrally located premier hotel. The resort is based around a garden atrium that can be viewed from 776 of its 2,884 guest rooms. The resort consists of nine acres of indoor gardens with cascading waterfalls and an indoor river. The Relâche Spa & Salon offers body treatments, facials and massages to guests who need a little downtime. Choose somewhere else

Took an hour to check in. They tack on a $20/day resort charge that no one mentions when you make the reservation. One day they came to clean the room at 6pm as we were getting ready to go out for dinner. We asked if they could come back when we left in about 15 minutes and they said no and just handed us towels and soap and moved on. I needed a package delivered to the hotel which they charged me a handling fee for even though I had to go and pick it up myself from a FedEx office. Stay somewhere else! Not worth it for the price.

Close to Perfection!

I spent two nights at the Opryland Resort. The only reason I did not give this Resort 5 stars was for the resort and parking fees added on. We did not access water bottles in room, online newspaper service, internet service or local phone calls, but you are still charged a $18.00 resort fee per day. Also, I believe the $20.00 parking fee is a little high. Other than these two complaints, the resort is perfect. Clean, friendly, I couldn't as for anything more except for the extra fees tacked on.

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

Must see the Grand Ole Opry and walk the beautiful Opry Mills Mall. We also toured Belle Meade. Also, don't miss the Loveless Cafe.

Quick Romantic Getaway.

The hotel was beautiful. I was so amazed at how many different types of scenery can be contained in one hotel. The cascades were beautiful and the synchronized water to music made me smile while the hubby just kept saying "wow". WOW is a great description of the entire experience. Looking forward to returning!!!!!!

Great weekend but not as requested!

Reserved a king bed atrium room but was checked in to a queen double bed atrium room. The desk clerk did not mention to us that this had been changed. I said to the bellman that the room was not what we had booked. He mentioned that they would be glad to change the room if they had any king rooms left but that they were probably booked pretty tight. I did not call the front desk to ask about the change but was disappointed that this mistake had been made. i expected things to be perfect. Staff and facilities were great!

Great Experience

Yes, you will pay more to stay at this hotel than most others in the Nashville area, but it is well worth it. We had nothing but excellent service from the staff and our kids had a blast exploring the hotel. It was not crowded when we visited, which was during Memorial Day week. The food was too exspensive for our choosing, but there are plenty of options very near the hotel.

Great hotel. Lots to see

Was booked with a king size bed which I did not get. Got the worst view possible. Looking at a brick wall and roof of the first floor. Make sure you don't book room D2017. Ask for a room with a balcony.
