DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Nashville Airport

Everyone was very friendly and even met the manager before departure. Liked the breakfast choices especially the omelet and fruit.

We stayed for four nights. The third morning both my daughter and I had no hot water in the shower at around 10 am. The last night when we returned to our room the maid service hadn't cleaned that day and our carry-out garbage was in the wastebasket all day. We had to ask for new towels. Staff at front desk waived a $13.00 meal fee but couldnt adjust room fee because we booked through a third party. That was not satisfactory at all.

First class. The staff bent over backwards to be accommodating.

The hotel rooms were roomy and offered separate sleeping and lounging areas. The front desk personnel helped you immediately. You never lacked places to go or things to do. The shutttle service at night left much to be desired. We waited over an hour for a pick-up that we were told would arrive in 20 minutes. Security at the Grand Ole Opry stayed with us because we were in the parking lot so long and they weren't sure if we would get back to the hotel. The shuttle only goes within a 5 mile radius and that eliminated the downtown area. Your on your own to get to any of those places.

Came to attend son's graduation from Nashville Law School at the convention center. Visited Broadway. The hotel is quite a distance from downtown, but the room rates made it easy to take a shuttle or cab.

The service was bad. We asked for sheets and pillow cases. At midnight we got sheets but no pillow cases. The front desk button did not work, the "care line" button did not work. The free breakfast was 30 minutes late, making us late to the airport, and, it was not free, $33 and change. Plus the order was wrong. Stressful.

Location was good. About 10 minutes to Opryland and 12 minute drive to downtown area. Rooms were clean and comfortable, as was the hotel in general.

It's close to the lake and parking usually is abundant For my truck and boat but not this Time. We had to park in the grass.

Great location, clean, friendly, helpful staff, great price, would stay there again!

We stayed in the 2 room suite with king size bed....Wonderful! I saw that someone else had commented poorly on this type room in the past, but we found it to be perfect. We stayed here because we had appointments at Vanderbilt Hosp, found it to be about a 15 minute drive with no traffic. Everyone from check-in to check-out were friendly, courteous, and professional. I would recommend anyone stay at this hotel. We saw families at breakfast that had small children who all said they had enjoyed their experience.
