Worst place we ever stayed

Broken glass door upon entry - headboard fell off wall upon touching it - old tv - carpet old n dirty - wall paint bubbling off wall - a/conditioner not working well - furniture dirty - staff made us sign a receipt upon checking in and didn't want to give us a copy - finally did after insisting on the day we left after they "whited" out some things - no towel racks in bathroom - would not stay there again -

Getaway for Spring Break

The hotel was under construction so we couldn't use the fitness room or pool. Because of the construction, the place looked pretty bad, but the room was clean. The hotel definitely needs upgrading to be competitive with other hotels, ie. Old tv's, well -used mattress, no microwave or refrigerator. The staff was awesome- very friendly and helpful. The location is okay since it was only a $7 cab ride to Bridgestone Arena and local attractions downtown.

SUCKS

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I did not know they were undergoing renovations. There was plastic everywhere. My husband had to tell them to remove the plastic from the ice machines so we could at least get ice. The carpet was sooooo nasty and there were iron burns all over it. There were cigarette burns on the bathroom sink. We didn't have a shower curtain when we first checked in. There was no hair dryer or telephone. It didn't look like it had been cleaned EVER!! The door woudn't close half the time and I couldn't get it to shut at all when I checked out. The "Continental Breakfast" was make your own waffle. No fruit. The syrup was in an old ketchup bottle. I will NEVER stay at Days Inn or take booking from *RBITZ again. My mistake. It won't happen again.

Not clean

They are in the middle of remodeling. I expected some mess, but I did not expect my room not to be cleaned. There were dirty towels left in the shower. Not a good place.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!

When I walked in there was a sign that said" please pardon our mess we are renovating." THAT WASN'T the word for it..how about under construction!!!!! The WHOLE place was a mess-plastic covering areas, walls damaged, trim removed dust everywhere. We checked in at 3p and listened to a jackhammer DIRECTLY below us from 3-5p and then from 5 to 6 a hammer. Also at check in she said i had to sign this paper and I would be charged $50 to cover my car overnight???? I asked for clarification but really didnt get any!

Don't judge a book by it's cover

Upon pulling up, one word came to mind, "ghetto." However, once I stepped inside, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was good sized & clean. You're not going to impress anyone by staying here, but if you need easy access to downtown or the stadium, or if you just need a place to sleep & keep your stuff, it's a great place. If you are skittish about driving through a bad neighborhood, this place isn't for you. For me, this place was just what I needed.

Money-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

If you need to go downtown, stay at the parking garage across from the convention center between 6th & 7th. Some parking lots can charge upto $50, but that place has a daily max of $8 & it's only a short walk to Broadway.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The hotel appeared very rundown from the outside and we hoped that the inside was at least clean and well kept...unfortunately, that was NOT the case!!! There were signs indicating that the hotel was under renovation but we did not see much indication of any work actually being done. The website indicated there was a restaurant/lounge in the hotel and there was not. The elevator was dirty and the hallways looked like something out of a scary movie...again, indicating that the hotel was being renovated with no sign of any work actually in progress. In our room, the carpet was pulled up between the room and bathroom and all the baseboards were pulled off. We could have lived with all of this; however, when I pulled the sheets back and found what appeared to be two large bloodstains, that was the breaking point!!! There were also bugs flying around the bathroom the entire time we were there. If we had any other options, we would have left this hotel; unfortunately, there were no rooms to be had in Nashville that weekend so were had no choice but to stay. They did change the bedding after we told them about the bloodstains, but we were already disgusted by that point and wanted nothing but to be out of that room. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!

NEVER AGAIN

The hotel was ok on main lobby level, but the remainder of the hotel was disgusting, dirty and almost creepy. The room was filth!! The drywall was cracked and pieces were actually falling off wall, curtains were noticably dirty, floors were horribly stained and burnt, lights did not always work, TV did not function properly, safe did not work, no working coke machine in entire hotel and it smelled! I woudl not recommend this for the amount of money paid to anyone!
