Smokey Hotel
I requested a non-smoking room, but found two used ash trays in the room. So much for non smoking. I informed the front desk but the young lady tried her best to convince me that I was in a non smoking room even though the evidence was there. She finally admitted that the whole hotel smell like smoke. I guess that is why she did not try to find me a different room. The electric sockets are overloaded with numerous items plugged in, creating a fire hazard. The ironing board holder fell off the wall. This is a hotel that I will recommend to my friends, family and co-workers to stay away from. UNDERCOVER BOSS where are you?

not worth the cheap stay
The hotel only had smoking rooms available, and insisted that I had booked one, which I definitely didn't. When I walked in the tub was completely full of water and the tap was dripping. The bath mat was soaked. It took me ages to figure out how to make the hot water work - jamming the lever repeatedly to the side seemed to work but it took a lot of force. The window didn't want to be open or closed...it was suck in a cracked position but I couldn't either open it for a breeze or close it to keep bugs out. I travel for work and staying at this hotel reminded me why it's worth it to pay a little more, or book early enough to get the place that sells out!

Family Vacation
We booked this hotel for a week's stay in Nashville. Before we arrived the staff didn't seem to want to help me in reserving a crib for our daughter. Once there we did end up having the floor we wanted and a crib was in there when we arrived which was pleasantly surprising. The entire hotel smelt horrible which was a huge turn off from the moment we walked in. The elevator smell actually made me feel sick. Thankfully the rooms smelt better than the rest of the hotel. Our toilet in our room was very difficult to flush and the faucet in the shower looked like it was falling apart and was really low on the wall. The air conditioning in the room worked perfect and we were very very grateful for that. We were also a little bummed that there was no attractions/ restaurant book in our room with places to eat or things to see near by. They did have a phone book and fliers in the lobby though. Breakfast wasn't great. Hardly any options and mostly eaten by staff. The other thing was that our room had NO fridge and NO microwave which we believed was throughout the whole hotel yet my dad came and stayed on a different floor and his room did have a microwave and fridge! The location is great but all in all it is a so-so hotel and would probably be better as a one night stayer than for a longer vacation.

Staff persons were great. We really enjoyed that this place was very quiet due to it being an older hotel it was suited us just fine as all we needed was a place to crash for the night. We had a basic continental breakfast and everything was fresh and tasty. The beds were a bit harder than I am used to but for the night it wasn't a big deal.

Okay Nashville, but not great
This hotel needs to get some much needed updates to keep up with ages, carpets need to get changed, much needed coat of fresh paint. The room that I was in the fan in the bathroom did not work and the AC unit did not stay on, so the room was a wave of temps all night long.
