Eh......probably won't go back
The hotel served its purpose for a place to sleep, and was not too far from downtown Nashville (about 6 miles). It was clean, had a decent continental breakfast, the front desk and cleaning people were nice enough. The problems were as follows -- (1) The cleaning people -- who were Indian and VERY hard to understand -- came into our room twice when we had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. I understand they have to do their job, but the whole point of that sign is so that they don't come in. My husband and I didn't have our belongings put together, they were all over the room, and that is why we said for them not to come in, but they did anyway -- two days in a row!!! (2) There was no safe in the room, and that made it worse that they came in when we said not to. (3) The iron SUCKED!! That may not seem like a big deal, but we didn't realize how bad it was until my husband ruined two $50 shirts trying to use it. It's not that we don't know how to use an iron, it had a layer of black filth on it, that we had to eventually scrape off. At first it just looked like the iron was that color, but when we looked closer we saw it was just dirt -- it scraped off and looked like burnt toast, or burnt pizza crust. They really need to monitor these things more often, we as guests should NOT have to clean these things!! The worst part of all this -- and why I decided to go with a 2 star instead of 3 star, is that when we checked out and told the front desk man what happened, he never apologized for anything, he answered the phone and then proceeded to ignore us. Never again will we stay there. It would've been more worth it to spend a little more money to stay closer downtown and have a better hotel chain.......shame on you.

Good Location with Reasonable Rates
Good clean rooms at a reasonable rate. Close to area where I had business. Despite road construction nearby room was quiet and comfortable. Good shopping and restaurants nearby. The room when I got there had a musty smell, but once the air conditioner had run several hours the smell wasn't as noticable.

Noisy outside - right on a freeway with major construction. doors to the outside banged loudly. 2 of the three Fitness machines did not work.
