Great Location and Comfortable

Great Stay!
Perfect hotel for a night out in downtown Nashville. Hotel was within walking distance which was a plus. Reasonable rate, clean room, and helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again. :)

Not so great
Stayed because really wanted downtown hotel for walking convenience, all other hotels were booked for Titans and Music City Bowl. Would not rate as a 3 star. The room was clean which is a definite plus, however, the hotel is run down...were doing some remodeling, but still not impressed. Valet parking only. Desk staff and valet were very nice and helpful.

Best Western 7th and Union
Hotel was comfortable,clean conveniently located to downtown, and the staff from bellmen,front desk,maids and maintainence all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Don't set expectations too high
Pros: very close to Broadway (where all the bars and fun places are), breakfast was sufficient (biscuits and gravy!), low price, valet (parking is $10 per day but you can come and go as often as you want) Cons: old, small rooms, dusty and somewhat dirty, 1 outlet was out and light bulb in bathroom was out (they did replace it immediately) and front desk staff were kind of rude, can hear lots of outside/street noise due to outside entrances

What we expected
You really can't beat the location of this place. It was however, difficult to even find the entrance to it! But the staff was very nice and they were quick about getting our car back to us. The rooms were average. But when you are in Nashville, most of your time will be spent OUT anyway! The exhaust fan in the bathroom was very loud and it was easy to hear people on the streets. But overall, I would stay here again...we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go for the most part :)

Okay
I think overall you get what you pay for. The room did have an airconditioner that sounded like a diesel truck. That was my one major complaint.

Room was small but cozy. Breakfast was pretty good. Only complaints are that parking is kind of ridiculous and the rooms are right off the street so it can be noisy.

Worked for needs
The hotel was convenient for downtown and it served our purpose, but the rooms and bathroom were small for an extended stay. Breakfast was just okay, but better than nothing. Nice to have the little store/deli attached for drinks, snacks, etc. There could be a little more attention paid to some of the details and service, but I would stay again for the rate we got.

It's only about 4-5 blocks down to Broadway, 2nd Avenue, Printers Alley, etc. And cab ride if you don't walk is less than $5 bucks each way.
