Nice Stay
Hotel staff was very nice, standard room, clean, hot water. A little far from the shops and nightlife to walk in cold weather, but not unbearable. Free bus to downtown center is 2 blocks downhill, bus was very easy and stops anywhere you want along route. And the continental breakfast was better than average with homemade gravy for the buscuits!

Great location
I stayed at this hotel to attend a basketball tournament at Municipal Auditorium. It was an easy walk between the Auditorium and the honky tonks on Lower Broadway . The staff was very friendly , and the free breakfast was nice , especially the waffle maker and biscuits and gravy. It wasn't noisy at all , and the beds were very comfortable .

Nightlife tip:
Short walk from hotel
The best honky tonks on Lower Broadway for real country music are Robert's Western World and the Full Moon Saloon. Full Moon allows smoking , but the Travis Mann Band there on weekends can't be beat .

OK for the money
AC unit blasts cold air on you as you sleep. Took a day to get a light fixed in the bathroom, so we had to shower in the dark the first day. Breakfast was free, so shouldn't really complain that the juice-maker was broken. Close to downtown restaurants/nightlife. Valet parking is cheaper than at nearby hotels.

downtown nashville
booked this hotel for its proximity to the bridgestone arena for a concert. only a few block walk to broadway and all the bars. the location was great. parking was an additional $10/ day fee. the coffee supplied in the room and with the free breakfast left a lot to be desired. was an average hotel, nothing special, served it's purpose.

Worked for needs
The hotel was convenient for downtown and it served our purpose, but the rooms and bathroom were small for an extended stay. Breakfast was just okay, but better than nothing. Nice to have the little store/deli attached for drinks, snacks, etc. There could be a little more attention paid to some of the details and service, but I would stay again for the rate we got.

Nightlife tip:
Short walk from hotel
It's only about 4-5 blocks down to Broadway, 2nd Avenue, Printers Alley, etc. And cab ride if you don't walk is less than $5 bucks each way.

A little underwhelming
Downtown hotel along with added expense should come up to date amenities. This hotel is dated but was still clean. I was just a little underwhelmed considering the location

Room was small but cozy. Breakfast was pretty good. Only complaints are that parking is kind of ridiculous and the rooms are right off the street so it can be noisy.

good location
We travel to Nashville twice a year, this hotel is the perfect location fr music downtown. I was very stunned on our first day there when a panhandler was begging in the LOBBY.....the desk clerk and valet were right there.....made me very uncomfortable.....I expect them on the street, not in te lobby.
