hotel was great. staff were friendly and helpful. room was clean and comfortable. we were out a lot during the day so just basically slept there and ate breakfast. no regrets staying here!

Never Again
Stayed here for a house hunting trip. The couch was stained, bathroom needed a good scrubbing. The bed was the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in and the pillows were either paper covered or filled with shredded foam - absolutely awful. I would never stay there again.

Red Wings Gal
Surprise bday party
Very nice, clean and comfortable. The only :( is that breakfast is only served until 9:30 am. The surprise party was the night before, we returned to the hotel around 1:00 am. We were a little slow getting up and missed breakfast altogether. Oh well. Our bad. Would recommend the Wingate to everyone!

thirty fifth anniversary
our stay at this hotel was a very nice stay for our anniversary, the room was clean and the staff was very nice, we where close to the mall and had a variety of places to eat, this was our frist time in Memphis and when we come back we most definately will stay at this hotel again.

escape from reality
My boyfriend and I are both Memphis residents, but anytime we have an event to attend that will keep us out late at night, we get a hotel room just to escape from our everyday routine. Our room was immaculate! Extremely clean and a great size room. We were very impressed with the friendly staff who quickly got us settled into our room & checked out without feeling rushed. Wonderful experience.

Really Nice
We went to Memphis for just one night to attend our nephew's graduation. We had the two room suite, and it was just awesome. We couldn't have asked for anything nicer. Giant two person jacuzzi right there in the bedroom, and a second sitting room next door with a big screen TV. Bedroom also had a big TV. There were two bathrooms, one in each room. Lots of effort in cleaning was well shown. I'd recommend this hotel to everyone!

If you're looking for something cheap and fast but not "fast food", try Jimmy John's Gourmet Sandwiches right across the highway. Huge and delicious!

Nice place overall
Hotel was relatively quiet, with a small amount of background noise from the road. Breakfast was quite nice with a waffle iron and hot/cold bar. Staff were friendly and the hotel was in a nice location for shopping along Germantown parkway. Would stay there again with family.
