Super 8 Memphis/Dntn/Graceland Area

Was worried about my 2010 Challenger out in the parking lot, carpet was really bad, booked online, would not have done it in person, I travel alot and gotta tell ya this was pobably the worst room I have stayed in, even when compared to your other Super 8 locations.

The staff at this hotel were part of a family. They were very nice and answered all questions we had. They had the shuttle ready quickly and even took us a couple blocks over because we didnt want to go to beale street and it was raining, so they took us to a resturant. The rooms were clean, but there were no bath clothes. Im sure they would have given us some if we had asked,but i bring all of my own linens with me to every hotel i visit, so i didnt need them. The breakfast was good. Overall i would stay here again! Great value!

As my friend and I arrived close to 11pm we were not impressed by what we saw; mainly due to the area. It was to the point where we didn't care if we lost out on the room cost since it had already been paid. However, the staff was very accomodating. We requested a room facing the parking lot since we drove up in a 17 ft. U-Haul with my Toyota Camry attached via an auto transporter. We were provided the room right next to the office on the 1st floor and my friend literally slept with the curtains open so we could see our truck parked in the vacant lot - with signs posted - No Hotel Parking - however we were told we could park just move it by 8am which we did. The room was super clean and pizza delivery the staff suggested was quick and delivered nice and hot. Only downfall was that I dedided to choose this location because website indicated shuttle. Well, it turns out the shuttle was $3 ONLY to Beale Street. They wanted to charge us $25 PER PERSON to Graceland!!!!! So we just checked out and went on our own. Overall, the price I can't complain. I felt bad for judging the location by how scary it looked at night.

This hotel is situated in a desolate location. It is under renovation and that means no pool and lots of grout. I felt uncomfortable the entire trip and wanted to leave. it was not worth the money and I would not stay again if it was free. The staff was rude and the booking company did not rectify the problem. Never again!

a bit out there but not so far that its not worth the trip

I was honestly a bit nervous going there at night, but once the next day came my boyfriend and I realized we totally over reacted! The hotel is what you pay for. But you cannot beat the location; literally about a 5 minute drive from downtown Memphis. The breakfast in the morning was more than what I thought it'd be. It is supposedly under rennovations, but we plan on staying there again simply because it is cheap and easily accesible. And not gross like any other typical motel!

This hotel has a bad smell in the lobby, chipping stucco, and I didn't see any exterior security cameras. The location is close to downtown, but it is worlds apart from other hotels in the area. The picture in the advertisement must have been taken years ago because it is not a good reflection of the property's current condition. It also next to a busy train track. You get what you pay for, but this hotel should have been about fifteen dollars cheaper per night. If you are partial to nice accommodations, I would not recommend this hotel to you.
