Picking up my daughter from college
Reservations were easy even on a busy weekend--Grizzlies playoff game and Memphis Music Festival. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Location was great. It was a basic, OK hotel room which was fine since we didn't want to spend time in the room anyway.

Wonderful Stay In Memphis
It was a beautiful hotel located directly across from a trolley stop on Main Street. It just minutes you can take a trolley to Beale Street or other great places in Memphis. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous as well as the valets and other staff members. Our room had a wonderful view of Main Street. We will definitely stay there again!

Take the trolley to Beale Street. It is only $1.00!!! Save a little money so you can take a horse drawn carriage ride back to the hotel.

Very Good Customer Service
Except for the employees this was not a great hotel. The room we were given was supposed to be a city view of which we saw two buildings and part of the roof of the hotel. There was a not so nice odor in out room so we had to keep the air conditioning high so that the odor was kept to a minimum. Our room was obviously behind the elevators so I could here them running most of the night. But... the employees were a very very friendly bunch. I most likely will not return.

Great trip
Great trip overall. The only downside was the room service time. We got room service the night we checked in and it was over an hour before it got there. They couldn't find the champagne that we wanted. So our food was cold. When we got breakfast in the morning it was also cold. Other than that it was great.

Comfortable
Perfect hotel. It was pricy, but very comfortable. The pool was beautiful and a nice size. The workout center was clean and had a nice variety. The King with sofa and rollaway bed comfortably slept our entire family. The beds were the best of any hotel...firm yet soft. Very comfortable.

Easy Access with the trolley
The Memphis Dowtown Marriott was overbooked the first night - had to go accross the street when my plane did not get in until 2:00am. They did have some bottled water and chocolates when I got to my room.

Stopped off for work
This place is okay. Friendly staff. Not right downtown where you want to go, but an easy enough ride on the trolley there and a $10 cab ride back. The rooms were clean.

Comfortable Business Hotel
As a business traveler, I'd rate this as exactly what you want when you're in town to get work done. The fitness center and pool are exactly what you need to relax and work off the lunch calories, the bed has every pillow type available, the elevators are quick to arrive, the internet works. What else is there?
