Memphis Airport Hotel & Conference Center

Hotel not very accommodating for handicapped guests in that the closest handicapped parking space required some negotiating of stair steps and considerable walking distance to reach the front desk. Upon entering our room we discovered that the bathroom contained only one partial roll of toilet tissue, and no kleenex type tissues at all. The microwave was dirty inside and the glass portion of the door had been damaged. Vending machines throughout the hotel were "out of order." There was no soap dish for the bathroom sink. The bed headboard and the computer type chair had milky like stains. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

the only plus with this hotel was that it was near the airport. The surrounding area was sketchy and the first morning we had no hot water and had to be switched to another room. No plans on staying there again despite the convenience.

Stayed two days. First day no hot water in the room, Limited food service available. After one day couldn't get back into room and had to have the room key recalibrated. No newspapers available. Has great potential, cordial and helpful staff.

The room was clean and fine but the breakfast buffet was not warm and definitely not worth the money. Front desk staff not well informed about restaurants. The 2 that they recommended were filthy. No information was supplied about the facility, such as cost for phone calls, how to make them, wake up calls, the hours of the buffet or bar. Every time we had a question, we had to call the front desk.

The room we were assigned to was really dirty; the fridge and microwave looked like someone put a baseball bat to it, and the shower was stained black with dirt. What I paid for the room was not worth it; I paid much more than what it was worth.

The hotel had recently been updated so we were lucky enough to have nice bedding, a fancy sink, and a flat screen tv. However, some things hadn't been updated, like the coffee maker, phone, and shower. The shower was in such a state that I felt it necessary to wear shoes. Also, the breakfast buffet was supposed to be at the Memphis Belle, which was empty and hadn't been used in ages. The only thing we saw was a cooler with yogurt. There certainly wasn't a buffet. We stayed here to avoid paying for airport parking so the room really paid for itself. The shuttle took us over right on time... we didn't even have to wait for the scheduled shuttle departure, and the shuttle driver was fantastic.

A good solid hotel, while a bit dated in design (you could tell it was a top notch conference center in the 70's/80's) it was still very well run (check in/out process excellant, solid breakfast buffett, room service) and clean overall. Price was excellant and conviently located near airport, downtown Memphis, Graceland, and the Liberty Bowl. I would recommend this hotel to others.

We came in at 10:30 p.m. The hotel shuttle picked us up at the airport and we were at the hotel within 5 mins. Pleasant driver. There were 8 of us and since our reservations were prepaid, check in was fast and easy. The staff at the front desk were very friendly. The free breakfast and airport shutlle were great! The king size beds were very comfortable and our rooms were clean. Would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises.

We had a great experience and the staff was very polite and friendly. The buffet could have offered more but all in all we enjoyed our stay.
